This item is kind of flimsy and warps with heat. But I wanted a light weight grill surface for canoe camping so I would not want a heavier duty one so it is good for my use. I would buy again for this use. For vehicle camping I would get a HD one.

It made sense to purchase this tray with the camp oven, it keeps the oven above the flames and helps to balance the item cooking. I used it to cool the hot pan that had been cooking. Its kind of small, but it will hold 2 x 10" cast iron pans. I would have given it 4 stars but it warped slightly which caused food to roll to one side of the pan. This was my FIRST TIME camping, and I can say as a first timer cooking over a fire, it makes it so easy. It also serves as a small table to set your cooked items on after your done cooking.
