so i have used this grill for a week straight every night. putting it together was pretty easy, the instructions could of been a tad better, but it was still easy. so far i have ran this little grill for a total of almost 40 hours of cooking time, and only used around 20# of pellets. ive tried wings, ribs, sausage, steak and hamburgers on it. i will say it works better for the wings and ribs than it does for the other stuff, but it cooked it all just fine. i noticed if you open the grill to put sauce on the wings or ribs, by the time your done and shut the lid the temperature will climb past the setting you have it on by 15 to 25 degrees. this is because the auger thinks the temp is low and continues to feed pellets in, so when you close it there is alot of pellets to burn off. the way i have remedied the situation is by turning the control knob down 2 clicks on the temp before opening the grill, put sauce on and close, reset the temp back up 2 clicks and it will go right to the temp it's set for. i really love that you can set it and forget it. i did the ribs on the smoke setting for 8 hours and they were perfect. they were boneless country style and kinda bigger. i managed to fit 14 wings on the grill when i did those and cooked them on the smoke setting for 4 hours and sauced them and did each side for another 20 mins. came out perfect. the top rack is pretty much useless as it gets in the way when you try to flip the wings in the back so i just took it out. besides it sits like only 2 inches from the top, so your not gonna get much use out of that area anyways, maybe for putting small stuff up there. i kept the grate just incase i ever want to use it for something. when i bought the grill it was 249.00 i see now it is up to 300. still a good deal for this smoker. really easy to use and great for 2 to 4 people. this was my first pellet grill that's why i went with this small cheaper priced one, to see if i liked it. as long as you turn the temp down when you open it and back up when you close it, it works super. really love the grill. didnt have really any damage when i received mine, the only problem was with the lid for the pellets. there's 4 holes for the screws where it mounts up, but mine only had 3 holes lol so i just had to drill the 4th hole, no big deal. im sure all companys have small issues like that. so all in all, i really enjoy it and it works really well for the 40 hours i have put on it with no issues. i figure it uses about a half pound of pellets an hour on the smoke setting. and the pellets run about 1$ per pound. however i did find a bag at our local winn dixie that is 20# for just over 12$ so thats good. the only ash you get is when you turn the unit on its off cycle, other than that it pretty much has a really clean burn. after the 8 hour rib burn, i only had a hand full of ashes. super impressed. i sure hope it last a long time. oh and if the little igniter rod ever goes out, it tells you how to use a gell starter liquid with the pellets so you should never be down if it does go bad. the finish has held up great for the 40 hours of cooking and heat and mine came with a grill cover that is made really well and waterproof, nice material. i give this grill 8.5 thumbs up out of ten only cause i wish now it was a little bit bigger but for the wife and i it will be plenty big enough even if we do have 3 to 5 people to feed. cant wait to get a bigger one in the next year. oh and i read one review where a guy said the firebox wire was too long and looked ugly, ummm buddie there is a hole in the side of the pellet box where you plug the wire in, and thats where you put all the wire after you connect it, so you dont even see the wire from the outside, you may want to redo yours :) oh and by the way, i put my wheels on the pellet box end, works way better this way for moving it around.

In fact, I have got it for some days. It works great and we all like this grill. The warming racks sit just abovethe main grates, providing extra space to warm and rest food on, or presents added space for smoking food. With these racks included it offers a total cooking area of 456 square inches. It’s more than enough space for most family party and can cook for a crowd. The digital thermostat control allows you to program your desired temperature. This allowsyou to easily reach the 225°F-250°F temperature range that we often try to aim for. Its temperature control range sits within the range of 180°F-450°F,which is actually a little lower than some smokers we see, however is perfectly fine for a general-use unit. All in all, DAMNISS smoker is a good choice that strikes the perfect balance between superbquality and value for money.

We love this smoker. Two items I would design differently, a lower door that opens to allow you to empty the pellets more easily and if the racks fit in a dishwasher better. But this is a great starter smoker. Highly recommend. Would purchase again. For size reference we have placed three turkey breasts and a large package of wings at the same time in this smoker.

This works great. Maintains temp and holds plenty of pellets. I bought 2 temp probes on amazon and just plugged them in. That takes all the guess work out and you can cook different meat at the same time. It holds a huge slab of ribs with room on the top grate for other meat. Cooks a full turkey splayed out and on both levels which helps it cook in half the time. Perfect size for for a family meal. Everything tastes so much better than gas.

When I ordered this grill I knew it would only be 3ft tall but I thought it would be a little wider. If you are a country boy like me this is great for small barbecues. It doesn't have the room like it says. It only holds a couple of small chickens, or one slab of ribs or 18 small burgers that just barely take up a regular burger bun. And the pictures the drip pan allows the oil from the food to drip under the drain funnel to the ground and only a little makes it to the drain cup. The only reason I still have it is because it's to much of a hassle to return it after putting it together and using it.

Assembly was fairly easy. The grill is not real heavy duty, but I'd say good quality for home use. We've cooked fish, chicken, steaks, burgers, hotdogs, and brats so far. All turned out great. WAY better than a charcoal grill and much easier to get good results. Good buy for the price.
