I perused many reviews here on Amazon before selecting these lights. It's early days still so I can't comment on their durability or water resistance yet, but I did want to report that unlike many other buyers, ALL my lights (I purchased 4 strands) worked and were securely fastened in their sockets right out of the box! In addition, they were packaged neatly so unwinding them prior to installation was a snap. I can only assume that other purchasers must have received either returned or defective strings as mine were clearly factory fresh. My only slight criticism is that the apparent color temperature SEEMS to be less than the advertised 2700 Kelvin, They appear very yellowish to the eye (of course this could be an artifact of them only putting out 80 lumens/bulb), but the overall effect is still pleasing. ... show more

I purchased 300’ of lights, and spent a few hours stringing them up. I purchased two Bestnewll hanging kits, and the process was simple, but it was time-consuming. The glass on the bulbs is durable (they held up against a couple of accidental drops on the driveway while hanging the lights), and the lights themselves have thus far been unaffected by wind, rain, or sprinklers. The photo makes them look white, but they’re actually a soft yellow. They’re brighter than expected, but soft and subtle enough that they create a nice atmosphere while providing enough light to see what you’re doing. We rent a house in Key West each winter that has a nice pool and yard but is very dark. I wanted to get a product that I could easily put up and take down (three months later) with zip ties to light up the patio dining area and over the pool. I checked with an electrician and he recommended low voltage string lights with plastic not glass housings. The product (150 feet) took a couple of hours to put up and I combined it with a remote on/off/ dimmer product from Amazon as well to make it easy to use. It is great. My only complaint is that two of the bulbs were damaged in transit (the box was really beat up but for the most part the product survived ok) so my four extra replacement bulbs are now two extra replacement bulbs. These lights are incredible. They reach a very good length I just 100 feet I am not completely surprised, but they seem to have very strong and resilient materials and bulbs seen as they’re made of plastic and the base are very interchangeable with regular lightbulbs, which is very practical should one go out, and I cannot find the particular bulb for it. Seems like a very power efficient and very nice way to light up your home! ... show more

Very well made, have had them up through very bad storms and they held up great. Love the warm glow on the patio. Very well made they are not cheaply made and they came with extra bulbs, just Incase.
