I thought I was going one or two long bars, it is multiple pieces that screw in together. At first I didn’t think it would work, but it is actually quite strong and looks great!

The look is nice and seems stable. My issue came I when I was screwing in the end cap and dropped it. It broke a chunk out of it, which I can see is clearly plastic. I hope the rest is metal. I cannot return it since I’m the one who broke it. This is just an FYI that the quality is not as stated for the entire rod. It is really disappointing. I fixed it the best I could and faced it towards a wall that most people won’t see. The installation was easy as with most rods and so far the performance is holding up well. Time will tell on performance since it’s only been a few days of use. I’ll update my review if found out otherwise. On a positive note, I do like that there are screws to keep the rod from turning while opening the curtains. This is really handy and easy to loosen and tighten when necessary.

The media could not be loaded. So far these curtain rods are doing great. I have four 96 inch curtains on this rod and they are pretty heavy curtains
