Excellent product. I’ve had two similar to this one but more expensive. They were stolen during a move. This one works really well. My brother is older and smokes in his condo and the smell when you entered it was is overwhelming. He had the new owners that took over the independent living facility scheduled for an inspection. He has lived in this place for almost 20 years and the smoke was embedded in furniture, clothing, towels, bed, bedding, carpets…..you name it. Well old couch and chair was removed. Carpet was cleaned after each treatment (see below explanation). Quick vinegar wipe of walls (not extensive), surface steaming of new couch, chaise lounger and mattress helped a lot. Everything else was washed. Carpets were cleaned after the treatments ( the machine removed most of the carpet smoke and the cleaning completed that). It’s easy to set up so I placed it in each room for individual treatments. The room starting with the entryway, kitchen and living room was the first treatment. It was placed on a laundry basket I had turned upside down and sat that on the chaise near center of living area. Closed the doors to the other rooms. (IMPORTANT: Remove all animals/fish and it’s tank if you have a fish 😄-live plants-food items) and you can leave cabinets open just remember to wash what you use eating drinking. Placed a box fan aimed in the area to the entry and kitchen and turned on the ceiling fan to circulate the mist. The actual machine was placed on laundry basket that was on the chaise lounge seat it reached at about waist high facing more to the living area. It has a 120 minute dial. Depending on odors 30-60 minutes should be good on basic touchup in stale rooms light to medium cooking odors. The cigarette smoke combined with other common odors I used 120 minutes for his place. You can do the above if the odors are strong and a deep cleaning is needed. I turned it to120 minutes and we left immediately. When the treatment is done wait 45 minutes to an hour then enter the room but cover your face and mouth to not inhale the active particles. Open windows and doors and give it about 20-30 minutes to air out. I moved it to the bedroom placed basket in center of bed with fans on and windows closed. Turned it on for another 120 minutes, left that room and put a towel at the bottom of outer door frame to prevent mist from escaping. Once it’s behind a door that’s closed and towel in place you can stay in the other rooms. Rinse and repeat for all other rooms and when done repeat the same waiting process, airing out and then clean as desired. Went to the bathroom area and last bedroom rinsed and repeated the above all rooms at 120 minutes. Steam cleaned the carpet and that was day one. Repeated the same cycle the next day and another round of carpet cleaning, it removed the smoke smell from every room. (Note: After each treatment there is a chemical type odor and sometimes with room sizes it can be strong but will dissipate fairly quickly if only doing one treatment per day. I was so impressed with this. When the carpet dried the last day of cleaning I sprinkled some carpet deodorizer, lit some nice candles and kept windows open with ceiling fans on. When his LL arrived two days later he never even mentioned a cigarette smell. I couldn’t smell it at all. It had a fresh clean fragrance. My two non smoking friends came by for a nose check and the place passed again with flying colors. He keeps the machine at his place and uses it once a week maybe once every two weeks in his living area and has been diligent about keeping a window open with a small fan by his ashtray to aid his habit and being more proactive in keeping it as odor free as possible. I can’t say enough about how well this little 9”x9” black box does what it claims to do! It does not mask the smell but actually goes deep into the furniture, carpets etc., with the particles and eliminates the bacteria causing the odor. I know this is a long review but I wanted to walk people through what was needed and done and the outcome of a heavily smoked in home. Every room got two 120 minute treatments done on separate days and the place was back to normal and he passed with flying colors. (Side note again, he could have done this all on his own but he has some mental challenges and physical limitations and needed help). It was a new management company that took over his independent facility and the inspection and passing was a must to maintain his home and independence. So, a condo smoked in steadily for basically 20 years with only the general and basic cleaning routines was an issue I really did not think we would be successful in treating. But we did and owe this company and this product a world of gratitude and thanks for having an item that actually did what it was designed to do and advertised to do!! Thank you!!!

My wife spilled milk in my car and after a few days my interior smelled of rotted butt. I tried everything: enzyme cleaners, urine busters, deodorizers, and nothing worked. Then I bought this thing and blasted it with ozone for 3 hours and let it simmer for the night and now it smells fantastic. Still a little o-zoney but definitely no rotten milk scent.

Buy one with power. I was frustrated as I ran as directed and nothing happened. Was trying to get smoke odor out of car. I ran it 2 more times as directed and still no change. Finally did 2, one hour cycles and maybe just maybe finally some change. The car was first detailed at detailer shop. What a waste of time!!! If they would only put their mg/h no-one would but their stuff. No wonder I wasted so much time. The thing is putting out hardly any mg/h, 10,000! Everything else I see is 48000, 160000, 45000, etc. This is going back and Amazon better give me a refund for my wasted time!

This came in excellent packaging. Only have to attack the handle to the top if you want. Used in cars to get the old car smell out. It leaves it smelling like a thunderstorm. May require multiple uses but only have to plug it in and set timer. Highly recommended.

Pretty good for the price. Download and read the manual. I bought this one because it was the first I found where the manual said it outputs a physically reasonable amount of ozone for the power it draws. Ozone generation is ~10% efficient. The manual claims it produces 5 g/hr of ozone which matches its actual current draw. Anything else claiming 50W draw and more than 5 g/hr is nonsense. This draws a real 65W and produces a lot of ozone, more than any normal person needs in a household situation. The bad - if you rotate the timer to "off" and then a bit farther it turns on and stays on forever. So be careful, set it to a time and check it soon after to make sure it's off. Otherwise it's fine so far (a few hours of use in 10-20 minute increments in a smelly house).
