These are actually really cool little items!! The craftsmanship is fantastic - HIGHLY DETAILED - and they're large enough to be clearly seen from a distance - and you KNOW it's a bird, but not so large as to be tacky. They also have a good weight to them so I'm pretty sure they're not hollow; or maybe they are - but they FEEL solid and have a little weight to them. The ONE caveat I might make note of is.... the rod they came with comes in 3 sections, and you MUST install all 3 sections with the curtain rod. They do telescope into each other - like an old car antennae - for different sized windows, but the brackets that mount the rod to the wall.. MUST be wide enough apart so that they grip the telescoping ends. Then when you (finger-tighten) the screw that holds the rod in place, it grips the telescoping ends so that the birds mounted on the ends don't pivot & swing upside down. The rod's holding strew locks the telescoping ends and keeps the birds in upright positions. Well I wanted my brackets a tad closer together , which meant that my brackets were gripping onto that CENTER-ROD that the telescoping rods slide into. So the the telescoping ends are free and the birds can technically just fall upside-down now because nothing is holding them. The center-rod can't be adjusted... only the telescoping ends. I could have made changes but I left it like it was - no biggie, because there's enough friction with the telescoping ends inside the center-rod, that they DO NOT swivel on their own. They are sitting upright, and nobody is going to touch them again until it's time to move... so it doesn't really matter much - but it's worth a mention. ✌️😉

Absolutely beautiful and well worth the price! The color is very nice and I love the weathered look of the birds. I was attempting to attach the brackets to studs, but my home is 90 years old and the studs are just wherever the builder decided to put them. I used the included drywall anchors and they do a great job bearing the weight of the blackout curtains. Very sturdy and excellent quality!

They are cute and the install was easy enough, I had some issue screwing the screws in especially the to one just from how the holder was shaped. The curtain rod feels decent— a little light like from aluminum. Color was pretty and consistent! The quality is rate 6.5/10. If you don’t tighten the little screws to the curtain rod itself the birds won’t stay upright— so don’t forgot!
