Ensure that you connect the power from the transformer and the power cord from the LED strip to the SAME side of the Light HUB. I was rushing to get it installed one night and had one connected to the upper right and the other to the lower left. They fit, but the light would not come on. Also, know that you can't override the "Light Cycle Overview" shown on the lower half of Page 6 of the Installation Instructions. There is ONE ON and ONE OFF per daily LED Light Cycle. So if you set the Clock and your daily On and Off time, the diagram on Page 6 shows how the Light Cycle proceeds per Current's programming. You can't, for example, set a separate On and Off time for the "Daylight" portion and another for "Sunset" or "Moonlight", but you can adjust the Color Spectrum of different lighting stages. it worked great once I pulled out the instructions and reread them and understood what you must do and how exactly to do that and also what you can't do - adjust on and off times of the different stages of lighting.

I really like the light it has it pros and cons Pros Great light for price Like that you can connect them to wave pump and sump pump I like the remote it comes with It is very easy to use once it is all connected Cons Instructions are not clear on how to hook the systems together Wish they would have had a video or something say hook this here and so on. Was not clear if I need to leave the wave pump control er connected Would have also been nice if it listed what all you need to get to make the system work. Iโm new at this so it may just be that I have only had my aquarium a few weeks and have no clue what Iโm doing

I love the light! I gave it four stars because I canโt finger how to hook up the loop with the wave machine to have them all work together. Itโs a nightmare.

My light just arrived without a remote. I've contacted customer support, and will update this review when I can actually program and try my light. Without the remote only the blue lights turn on. Edit: I emailed Current's customer support on Sat., gave them my receipt, and had a replacement by Thus. I'm decently pleased. As for the light- My package didn't come with any instructions, so I pulled up a PDF on my phone and had no trouble programming my light. It's certainly not intuitive enough to figure out without instructions, but the instructions are easy to follow. The light itself works great, has lovely color, is fairly strong, even with a deep cube tank (it's taller than it is wide). While at this point I think I would prefer something on an arm next time, since I have to take this light off the tank to clean, I don't really have any other problems with the design. I really enjoy the pre-programmed weather options. It's fun to check the tank as I walk by, because I never know what to expect. I also appreciate that I can program each aspect of the cycle- the full sun, sunrise/set, and night time. Photo acclimating my coral to the new light was very easy. With my previous Kessil, I would be forced to use paper towels or paper to dim the light for a few days to ease them into the new surroundings and I was always stressed that that last transition from paper to unmasked light would stress the coral, but with this light I just programmed the color back for a few days, and then increased the levels until they were back where I liked them. I'm aware this isn't the top quality light, but I'm not in a position to replace the Kessil with 'higher tier' lighting at the moment, and this seems to be working great. I'll update if I run into problems, but the first two weeks has had my fish, coral and anemones looking great and happy.

I love not having to turn my lights on and off and it is easy to program when sunrise and sunset happens and adjust the colors for sunrise/sunset, day and moonlight. The gradual light changes don't startle the fish and it is good there is period of dark as well. I like how you can actually run 2 light strips off them so you can add another one at a later point or have it controlling a light on 2 different tanks. I prefer the bluetooth adapter which is even easier to use but you can always add it at a later point. I do use mine on freshwater tanks with plants that don't have high light requirements I have multiple ones and out of 6 of them and I did have a single issue where the controller wasn't working correctly (the clock wasn't changing) and after contacting them via their website they promptly sent me a new controller.
