This is a great Tiller, assembly was extremely simple even a caveman like me could do it! I am impressed with it's quality and price, I found this tiller more then adequate for garden or yard, I used it to till up an area of old grass lawn that was 30x50 feet (1500 sq. ft.) and then about 2 hours later start laying SOD lawn and complete same day. NOTE: as always follow the instructions and keep good track of the power cord because the tiller is most effective moving backwards.

As a product company, I've found nothing but high quality entry level products from Deko. This is yet another one in a lineup of tools for people who just need a quality tool, but may not be using it at a level that one does for their livelihood. Here is a corded tiller - not gas or battery powered. I see no use for a battery powered tiller. The amount of power needed to run one of these if it has any substantial size and weight seems insane. I'll have to test one to become a believer. So it's either going to be constant electrical power (Corded) or gas powered. This one requires a heavy duty extension cord, one that is a 14 gauge (depending upon length). This is important so you don't have a drop in line voltage going to this tiller. Low voltage on a motor like this can result in damaging the motor. Ask any carpenter that uses a saw on a construction site. They know this after burning up a saw with a cheap extension cord. ASSEMBLY: It'll take about 10 minutes to get the handles and wheels attached. It's mostly tool-less. Look at the manual, it's OK (not great) which is rare for Deko products. I think a few more details would be helpful to 'show' you where things go. It's not hard, just a little improvement. Tighten your handles by hand, but don't over do it. You'll need to re-torque these from time to time. OPERATION: Hold safety handle down, and button, and you're off and running. Like any tool, it takes some time to get the rhythm of how the tool operates. This one is slow and powerful. It's weighty so letting the weight of the tool do it's job will result in the best tilling. Don't expect this to bust through rock-hard dirt. I've noticed it's best to have had a rain recently (not a flood) where the soil is moist a couple inches down. APPLICATION: This is a very good tool for someone with a simple small garden, or for one (like me) who wants to till up patches of bad grass and weeds and replant them. If you have a big garden, you'll want a gas powered tiller. Or, if you have a large lawn and don't want to spend $50 on a very long thick gauge extension cord, but a gas powered tiller. OVERALL: Great little tiller for small gardens near a power outlet. Always use a heavy duty extension cord capable of handline 15 Amps max current.

This electric rototiller impressed me right out of the box. Assembly was very straightforward and didn’t take much time at all, which is always a plus. In terms of performance, it really is a workhorse. It’s a bit loud, but that’s to be expected for the power it delivers. It can be a little rough when trying to break through hard, compacted ground at first, but once it gets started, it does an excellent job of loosening and turning the soil. Operation is simple and intuitive: just press the button on the side of the handle and squeeze the handlebar to get it going. I had no trouble getting the hang of it. The only minor issue I ran into was some clumping around the middle tines, but honestly, that’s something you’ll deal with on pretty much any roto tiller. It didn’t significantly affect performance. Overall, this is a very good electric rototiller that gets the job done efficiently.

This corded tiller is more powerful and larger than my SnoJoe tiller. The 6 tines and the the powerful motor can plow through most terrain (except rocks). It has a 3 part handle that can be collapsed so it does not take up much space in my shed. It actually consumes half the space that my SnoJoe 4 tiller does. The wheels also can pull all the way in so the standing footprint is very small. The only issue I have with this tiller is the wheel adjustment. Most tillers have at least 3 positions for the wheels so you can make it dig deep, take off a top surface, or move the wheels so the tiller can be rolled away. This DEKO has only two positions. One for deep tilling, and one for moving the tool. Although you can just adjust the angle when tilling which will control the depth, I appreciate a shallow setting for taking off a top layer. The 18" width and the 6 tines make quicker work than my 4 tine tiller.

We switched to this electric tiller after getting completely tired of fighting with a giant gas-powered one that felt heavier than the actual yard work. The difference has been huge! At around $129 (currently with a coupon), this feels like a really good deal for how easy it is to use. It is lightweight, easy to maneuver, and starts instantly without all the drama that tends to come with gas equipment. What surprised me most is that it really does not seem to bog down easily. So far we have mainly used it in a relatively manageable front yard area, but it tore through the soil without slowing down or struggling. It also takes up very little space in the garage compared to the old tiller, which is a major bonus. Assembly was straightforward and took maybe 10–20 minutes total since most of it comes nearly assembled already. The instructions were actually clear for once, which made the process painless. The overall construction feels sturdy too, despite how lightweight it is. Overall, this has made tilling significantly less annoying and much less physically exhausting compared to dealing with a bulky gas tiller.

This DEKOPRO 18 Inch Electric Garden Tiller has been a huge help for gardening and yard work. It’s surprisingly powerful for an electric tiller and cuts through soil much easier than expected. The 6 steel tines do a great job breaking up compact dirt and preparing garden beds quickly without needing a ton of effort. I also like the adjustable wheels, which make it easier to control and maneuver around the yard. The machine feels sturdy and well-built, and the corded power means you don’t have to worry about batteries running out in the middle of a project. Overall, powerful, practical, and a real time saver for gardening. Great value and definitely recommend!

The DEKOPRO 18-inch electric tiller made prepping my garden beds much easier than expected. The 15-amp motor has plenty of power to break up compact soil, and the six steel tines dig deep without constantly getting stuck. I also appreciated the adjustable wheels, which helped with control and maneuvering around smaller planting areas. It’s sturdy, effective, and a solid option for home gardeners who want to save time and effort when turning soil for planting.

This is a serious Tiller -18" wide full path with 6 digger tines .....this is a CORDED full electric -not a weak battery operated weak knock-off... this also has adjustable wheels -will dig 8" deep with its 10.5 amp motor ..finally a powerful clean running tiller without dragging out the messy gas can out ...( engine idles at 335 RPM's..overload protection built in ... all this machine for less than only $140! (And now there's a $20 coupon being offered on Amazon ) ...I tilled a 800 SQ FT area for an annual vegetable garden I plant yearly ..usually took me 2 hours by hand years past -this year with this DEKOPRO took me 22 minutes -start to finish .. A vast improvement ...
