This collapsible gear hauler is amazing on all fronts! *Fabric is high quality, not at all worried about it tearing. *Aluminum frame is very sturdy, and love the way they do their built-in hinges to make collapsing them very easy. *Storing them in my trunk on a daily basis since they collapse down to just a few inches and take up minimal space. *I've been using them for just about everything over the last few weeks (bringing groceries into the house, shopping at Sams Club, lugging my son's baseball gear between games and practices, bringing food to church, and much more). Beyond the looks, the construction is incredibly robust. Structural Performance: The standout feature is the aluminum frame. It snaps into place easily, providing a rigid structure that doesn’t sag or cave in, even when partially empty. I tested it with approximately 20 lbs of groceries and gear; the bag felt completely secure with zero straining at the seams. While the manufacturer states a 100 lb capacity, the 55L volume is more likely to fill up before you hit that weight limit, making it perfect for heavy-duty hauling. Versatility & Storage: This has quickly become my go-to for everything from beach trips and picnics to organizing snacks in the car. The inclusion of multiple strap options—both shoulder handles and a crossbody strap—makes it much easier to carry when fully loaded. When not in use, it collapses down to about 2.5 inches, sliding easily under a car seat or into a narrow closet gap. Interior Features: The fabric feels heavy-duty and water-resistant, which is a must for outdoor use. There is a convenient zippered pocket on the inside that is perfect for securing a phone, keys, or wallet so they don't get lost at the bottom of the tote. I love the CleverMade brand. I originally discovered them while looking for storage and packing solutions that could be easily broken down and stored compactly. Our oldest son is medically fragile and disabled, so we have a lot of medical equipment in our home and often have to travel with a large amount of gear. Add in two other kids, and we definitely never travel light. I ended up using this Pro Hauler far more than I expected. My parents recently bought a home one street over from us, and this tote has been perfect for hauling dinners, supplies, and random items back and forth between our houses. It’s durable, holds a ton, and the weight limit is honestly higher than I can reasonably carry, so I rarely have to make multiple trips. You can tell this tote was actually designed with transporting heavy items in mind. The shoulder strap has a padded cover so it doesn’t dig into your shoulder, and the tote itself is structured and reinforced instead of collapsing awkwardly while carrying it. It’s large enough for groceries, beach gear, camping supplies, or random errands, but still folds down easily when not in use. The collapsible design makes it much more convenient than bulky storage bins. The aluminum frame gives it excellent structure and stability, even when carrying heavier items. I was impressed by how sturdy the handles and fabric feel compared to many soft utility bags. The recycled fabric also has a durable, quality feel without being overly heavy. This is an incredibly sturdy and versatile bag I love that it collapses for easy storage in my car or pantry when not in use. The material is thick and very sturdy. It is perfect for the farmer's market, and I loved having the cross-body strap to keep my hands free. It was so easy to carry, and the metal frame prevented my plants and vegetables from being smashed. It is also great for Costco trips and holds a surprising amount of groceries. This is definitely more heavy-duty than a similarly-sized soft cooler, but there's no way you're going to carry that much in a bag like this. The aluminum frame definitely helps provide stability. It also makes the bag a little bit heavier. It folds down pretty nicely though. It's a good size to carry, although if you stuff it full it can be a bit awkward. Personally, for carrying much of anything I prefer a crate or box I can carry in front of me with both hands, or something with wheels so I don't have to carry it at all. The bag looks nice and the material seems durable enough and the color dark enough that it won't show too much wear and tear for a while. Personally, if I was going to carry much of anything in this I'd want a helper and we'd each take a strap while carrying the bag between us.
