From the Manufacturer The Culligan under sink drinking water system includes filter head with built In bracket, RC-EZ-3 cartridge, mounting screws, supply adapter, lead free faucet with built in electronic cartridge life indicator and 1/4-inch plastic tubing, 6 months/500 gallons filter life. The filter features a twist on, twist off mechanism, quick connect fittings, double water shut off. The filter reduces bad taste and odor, chlorine taste and odor, sediment, lead, cysts such as cryptosporidium & giardia, turbidity, atrazine, lindane. The filter is NSF certified and has a 5-year warranty.

This replaced a Britta filter pitcher. The install took 20 minutes and was exactly as the instructions said. Easy, and Quick. The water tastes great and the sink faucet is a real convenience. We are currently using the middle of the road filter as this is a step up for us from a Britta pitcher filter, but the same housing will accept the Premium / Advanced filter cartridge. FYI I had to order a different faucet as the chrome finish one that was supplied did not match our oil rubbed bronze kitchen faucet. Still worth the money and time to install. ... show more

I was using Brita pitcher and Brita faucet mount before. I wanted more economical and neat looking way to get rid of iron taste (our water is well water and the pluming is old). This unit works great. We also install the sediment filter on upstream though, the taste of water comes out of this faucet is as good as Brita filtered water. Installation was easy, and the faucet comes with is great looking. After a month, This unit is still giving good flow rate which is faster than Brita Faucet mount I was using before. But I imagine enough water pressure needed on upstream of this unit so if you have clogged old pluming on upstream, you may not get desirable flow rate. ... show more

Drinking water faucet is made of chromed plastic. The plastic button on the handle falls out and can be easily lost. The rate of water flow is frustratingly slow. To fill a 12 cup coffee reservoir takes several minutes. This flow rate is beginning to degrade as time passes (30 days) since installation. The installation was not too bad, but I had to purchase a new flexible faucet supply line because the adapter for the filtration system shortens the path between the water supply valve and the cold water stub on the sink faucet. Also, a watch style battery comes with each filter cartridge, but they do not tell you how/where to install it. It goes in the plastic faucet handle, but the polarity is a crap shoot. If you put it in backwards, the cartridge timer light glows red. Putting it in the other way, the light goes out, so I suppose it starts a six month timer and then turns on. Water tastes excellent using a US-EZ-3 style cartridge with well water. Update: 2/2010 I suppose I've grown accustomed to this drinking water system. Although slow, it is effective and performs it's intended function well. I believe the flow rate is comparable to any type of filtered water system, therefore I've updated my review. I've replaced several cartridges since installation. Cartridge replacement is simple. I would recommend this system. ... show more

Simple to install, but it comes with 1/2” waterline fitting. My waterline was 3/8” so i went to Ace and bought the correct fitting. Other than that it was simple to install. The faucet itself is very loose fitting and moves around a good bit when turning faucet. Loved the taste of the water after installation. Bought it for my Keurig and to buy less bottled waters.     • It kinda works
This product kinda works but not as well as I expected. It’s about as good as poor quality bottled water. But really the biggest issue was what I and others have to do to make it work. I had to get a 3/8 x 3/8 x 1/4 T, 3/8f to 3/8f, and 1/4” nylon sleeves to make this work. I don’t know how else you could plumb this with standard plumbing in the United States. It comes with like a 1/2” t but honestly who has hoses that big to their sink??? ... show more

    • Only one size adapter-t incuded
I replaced a faucet mounted filter with this and now I wonder what took me so long. This is very easy to install. However, the fittings are so simple (just push) that Iooked up a how to vid to make sure I wasn't missing something. My one issue was that the one included adapter was for 1/2" interior dimension pipe. It is a white plastic fitting. My shut off valves were 3/8". I called Culligan and they sent me the right fitting (a back plastic piece) at no charge. It took 2 business days to arrive and worked perfectly. ... show more

Installation was easy. Water flow is so slow it is unusable. Took nearly a minute to fill a 10oz glass. Ran it for over 30 minutes hoping the flow would improve and it did not. The faucet is very cheap. There is a small trim piece that covers the screw that holds the knob on. This piece fell off as soon as I took it out of the box. It is supposed to snap into the knob but it is so loose it just falls off. Removed the product after messing around with it for a couple hours trying to get it to be usable. ... show more
