My friend and I live in 5th wheels. I really don't cook much. My friend cooks all of the time. Neither one of us want to use our propane to cook - in the summer it's too hot and in the winter propane is precious for the furnace. So, neither one of us use our stoves/ovens. We use the microwave, slow cooker, or air fryers instead. Every once in a while we need a stove. My friend tells me this hot plate is perfect, even for larger pans/skillets. I ordered this hot plate just a few days ago. I am very impressed with the fast delivery and quality of the package! Hot plate heats up quick and holds the heat for a while after it turns off, which is great when you want to keep something to stay warm until you are ready to eat. This will be great for carrying in the trips during hurricane season and also will be great for college kids. So far I am very happy with the product. Cord is also a nice length. I needed a single hot plate for a while so I ordered this one for a number of reasons. I already had a dual hot plate but sometimes you only need one burner and this frees up some space on the counter top. It heats up as fast as the others and will definitely boil water. I checked it with my infrared heat gun and it actually went over 1,000 degrees Fahrenheit and my meter flashed an over temp warning as it maxes out at 1,000 degrees. Super fast delivery. Love the cast iron it retains heat extremely well. We were happy to see that this little powerful hot plate didn’t take up much space. The media could not be loaded. This single burner is perfect! It boils water within minutes. It's also on the smaller size so it's perfect to store or use outdoors. The cord is also a nice length just in case an outlet isn't close by. Would recommend!
