  • Lights stopped working less than 60days out
Configuration: 1 Camera System
The camera works great, but the light stopped working within 60 days of me owning it:( very frustrating to pay more for floodlights, and then the floodlights don’t even work. I should have just bought a camera by itself.

  • Great product
Configuration: Mount Accessory Only
Pros: brightness. Connectivity and functions as intended. Auto connects to the camera. Cons: battery life and some instances of disconnection issue of lights not working. Need to reconnect to the camera by reinstalling it to your blink sync module. Overall still giving it a 5 star

  • Disappointing Camera
Configuration: 1 Camera System
With recent crime and vandalism in my neighborhood, I wanted to get a garage camera to be able to quickly see any detection and movement in front of my house. This camera does not fit the bill - here's why: - Camera Delay and Feed Issue: After getting a motion detection notification, the camera feed takes anywhere from 10-20 seconds to pull up from the app. Not to mention, the "live feed" is anywhere from 4-10 seconds delayed. And this is IF you’re lucky. Most times it won’t even pull up the feed after you click on the notation notification. This is useless as a live-feed security camera, as if there were any malicious activity being detected, by the time you got to see what's going on, it would be too late to even intervene. - Motion Detection Playback: Motion detection recordings are incredibly inconsistent. Sometimes it will show you a playback that is less than 1 second long, other times it will just provide you with a highly pixelated screenshot that tells you nothing. Also, if you want to quickly see a recent motion recording, they won't show up in your recording archive for several minutes, again, not allowing you to intervene if necessary in a timely manner. - Camera Quality: Very disappointed with the visual quality of the camera. The camera is not smooth at all and often times the live feed will pause for several seconds while viewing. My first-generation Ring doorbell camera from 7 years ago has a better camera and audio than this! - Installation: With the number of parts this came with, I was surprised that it came with virtually no instruction, other than a QR code that took you to a very basic overview of the camera (not even the right one, at that), that had no installation instructions. I had to watch several 3rd party videos to figure out what I was even looking at in my box and how everything went together. The design is not intuitive at all. - Sync Module Issues: On several occasions when power or internet have gone out, the sync module disconnects but does not reconnect. You have to manually intervene and install the module which is never a quick process, and typically doesn’t work for several days. Devices like this should be designed to automatically reconnect - you shouldn’t have to play the tech guy to get things back up and running anytime there’s a connection issue. - Misc.: LED "on" light is incredibly small and dull and does not turn on unless motion is detected. To me, having a bright camera LED that's always on is a big deterrent for any prospective thieves. The setup just looks like a big floodlight and nothing else. Speaking of big, the whole set up is very bulky, due to the large batteries the lights take (which by the way, the lights should be solar powered anyway. Another design opportunity missed). The camera mount just looks like an afterthought they slapped on and the system does not look like a sleek, modern design that Amazon would put their stamp of approval on. It's an unattractive hunk of black plastic that looks like its from 15 years ago. Overall, I'm disappointed with the camera and would not recommend it. It is not effective in the slightest as a proactive security camera and may be more suitable for someone who just wants to periodically check on an area outside their house where a "live feed" isn't necessary, although, I'm positive there are better, cheaper options available. The only reason I'm keeping it is because the recording subscription service is the cheapest I've found and also, there are very few camera options that are both wireless and have a floodlight integrated... Although you'd be better off buying a higher quality camera and a separate floodlight to pair with it. For what you get, this should be half the price of what it is. Update: just had a questionable person who kept ringing my doorbell and wouldn’t leave. He eventually went away from my door but my garage (Blink) camera kept sending me notifications that he was still there. Of course, I couldn’t pull up the live feed and no recordings were available for review. The only time I actually needed them to. I had to rush home from work to make sure everything was okay because Blink once again failed to show a live feed. This camera is absolutely worthless. ... show more

  • Motion lights randomly stop working.
Configuration: 1 Camera System
I got this setup awhile ago, like 2 months ago, and I waited to write a review. So far I like the blink motion light and cam combo. But I will say this: The floodlight portion of this unit will quit working every other week, and I have to reset the whole unit, delete from the blink app and start over, just to get the motion lights to work again. Other than that, it's pretty rock solid. Updated 8-8-25. Blink support actually reached out to me about my review, they reviewed system logs of my system and sent me a new motion light, that fixed my problem I was having with the floodlight not coming on. Blink support was super awesome Even though I didn't even reach out to them and ask for help, they took initiative to fix my problem. A+ rating on support. ... show more

  • Just spend the money and you won’t be disappointed
Configuration: 1 Camera System
Pretty good cameras if you ask me. I didn’t want anything complicated. I may be technical but I don’t want to struggle with set up. Honestly pretty straight forward. My biggest concern was Wi-Fi setup. It’s a little confusing with the little box setup . To hook up you need the little white box connected to your Wi-Fi and that’s what your cameras ping off. I suggest keep them close to your router as must as you can for a better signal.(your camera distance from your white box plays a big part as well) And you need a phone you always use to use the app one. Your cameras will send notifications to the app so we definitely need to phone You will use every day so you can see the notifications . Find a spot where you want your camera and Mount it. Follow the instructions and you should be fine. Again the setup to Wi-Fi is the hardest part. Be sure to setup it first before you install that way you’re ready to go. All you have to do is adjust your camera angle and settings to what you like. I have three cameras and I had them for 3 months now. The picture quality is super clear at day and night it’s pretty good too. I love how you can hear what’s going on outside and talk to people if needed. The biggest drawback is that it does terrible with fog of course and moisture will make your camera blurry. It does fairly well in the rain, though I would worry about the camera fogging up. Had that happen at night and couldn’t see. I was really surprised that the rain didn’t damaged the cameras. It was raining for days and yet no damage. The batteries lasted a little over 3 months. And this is having them on every day ,so first started with one camera first ,the AA batteries went out then the double D batteries. Then eventually that other spot I had a different camera went out, so I’m assuming the last one will go out soon. You can start seeing the pattern on how long they last . And a large depends I would say on how much you use the record and how much lights go off and on the plus side the floodlights only go on at night And the cost calculated it cost $54.08 for one pack of AA and DD if you buy together. Right now AA batteries are 33 bucks for 12 pack and a double D batteries from Amazon cost $17 for a 12 pack. That’s enough for 3 cameras . Times that but 4 and you get a grand total of $316.32 including the hundred dollars for the subscription per year. Not bad. I’m sure I’m forgetting something but I think that’s the gist of it. I love the cameras, you’re not going to find an outdoor camera that is better than this. I spend hours a days deciding what to get. The reviews on Amazon are confusing to say the least. So many good and so many bad cameras. Than you got to read what the positives are and what the negatives are about this camera and that camera. . Blah blah I like what other people were saying about this camera and I was tired of going through the reviews so I took a chance and it worked out. I love the camera and I don’t really have much bad to say about it. I think you w would love this camera. I never review products so this is a first for me. I want to get another camera at some point but no money for now ... show more
