This is the perfect size for what I needed. Basically hot dogs, stuffing, etc. I bought it to replace an older aluminum pot that I ruined, but I found I really like this pot. It's easy to clean, the handle doesn't get hot while cooking in it. The lid handle gets hot but not too badly. The handle gets hot but I can pick it up even when boiling water, without using an oven mitt, if I'm quick. I use sauce pans to boil milk or make tea with milk besides other use. Every 3 or so months I have to replace sauce pans due to burning while boiling milk or reheating liquids. This Cuisinart sauce pan is the best I ever had! It is sturdy with heavy bottom. It hold temperature for awhile as well.
