The exteriors of the 18/10 stainless steel pots and pans feature a handsome brushed finish, while the interiors are mirror-polished for non-reactive, quick release of foods. The tri-ply Heat Surround technology sandwiches an aluminum core in the base and side walls for superior, even heating. You'll also find solid cast stainless- steel handles that stay cool on the stovetop, tight-fitting stainless-steel lids, and drip-free pouring rims. Each piece is oven-safe to 500 degrees F, and the pans are safe for broiler-use, too. This fabulous set consists of basics and more. The 1-1/2- and 3-quart saucepans with lids take care of everything from oatmeal to bechamel sauce, and the veggie steamer insert with its own lid fits the larger saucepan. Also included is a 10-inch open skillet that turns out perfect grilled cheese, hamburgers, and crepes; and an 8-quart covered stockpot for stews and soups. I LOVE this cookware!!! I was pleasantly surprised at how heavy this stuff is. I already have a high end waterless cookware set that my husband purchased many years ago. To give an example as to how high end and to compare to the Cuisinart set - the waterless cookware set i have had now sells for in the over a thousand dollar price range for a whole set. My old set had nothing physically wrong with it and it still works well and looks good. The problem is when i make sauce or rice or just about anything in it with the lid on water or sauce or whatever sprays out of it onto the stove and sometimes the floor. I also wanted something new for a few other reasons. I did a lot of searching for a stainless set that was at least as good of a quality to what I already have without the high price tag. I read a lot of reviews and decided on this Cuisinart set. When i recieved this Cusinart set i was pleasantly surprised at the quality. This stuff is heavy duty and very well made. I think it will last a lifetime. When cooking with it i noticed that things actually cook faster than with my old set. The instructions say you don't need to put the stocve on the high temps when cooking. I am used to putting the heat up on high for a boil to get things like water or stuff that doesn't stick easy to get cooking faster. With this cookware there is no need to do that and the end result gets cooked faster than with my old cookware without the spray on my stove. I have not put my cookware in the dishwasher yet although instructions say that i can do so. I did get a little spotting on inside of cookware after using and then washing, but it really is no big deal and does not affect anything at all. I read that you can use bar keepers friend or bon ami to clean the spotting off. I haven't tried it yet. All in all this cookware is very nice and looks nice too. I am very pleasd with my purchase and have added a double boiler and the 2 quart pan to the set. ... show more

Pretty good quality, but with a few negatives: - edges are surprisingly sharp; already cut fingers on pot lip and handles - quite heavy - unlike our other pots, these make a loud vibrating hum when used on the induction burners - scratch easily Despite sturdiness, if we had to do over we’d probably buy something else. ... show more

I didn't want to spend 800-1000$ for All Clad pans , which I truly desire. So upon deep research I found these. The reviews were fantastic. I read every review and watched several YouTube tutorials and I'm so glad I did. For the price these pans are just perfect. They heat evenly. Melted butter doesn't slide to the sides. They heat up fast and stay hot and evenly hot. I can finish cooking in the oven too. They are very heavy and they clean up beautiful with soap and water or I use a little Bon Ami. I love cooking again. Every time I cook in them I feel special =) ... show more

    • Fantastic Multiclad Cookware!
This cookware is awesome! I went for the 7-piece set because I have a smaller kitchen and didn't have a need for the extra items. I ended buying the steamer separately because it was the only other item I wanted that wasn't included with the 7-piece. I have used all pieces several times now and I have to say that cooking is extremely enjoyable on these things. The even heat distribution makes a huge difference. We have cooked our favorite meals with these and everything is turning out better than they ever have. Homemade Alfredo, shrimp, potatoes, tacos. It doesn't matter! It all cooked wonderfully. I have noticed in a lot of reviews that people complain about food sticking to these and that they are extremely hard to clean. Just do your research first! Proper preheating and oil use will solve 90% of any issues you may have with these. I have been using them with very little food stick! They is a little discoloration after use, but nothing a little Barkeepers Friend can't fix! This is my first set of cookware that is on the nicer end and I am not disappointed what-so-ever for the price! ... show more
