  • My husband loves this
Style: Classic Size: Burr Grind & Brew Color: Stainless Steel
After purchasing this nifty little coffee brewer my husband no longer drives to town every morning to bu a decent cup of coffee. He loves this thing. It works easily and is easy to clean and makes great coffee. Now he can have a precise brew of whatever coffee he wants and it always tastes great. The only issue with it is that some of the grounds drop out of the grinder after you remove the receptacle for the fresh grounds. So I made a little wooden tray that catches the grounds. When my friend visited and saw this machine, she was all about it and said she was going to purchase one she liked it that much. ... show more

  • Freshest coffee I've ever had, at home!
Style: Burr Grind & Brew Size: Single Serve Color: Black
The Cuisinart Single Serve Bean to Cup Coffee Maker is fantastic. You first put a few spoons of your favorite coffee beans into the grinder. I also pop a small paper filter into the reusable filter container (less mess and extra filtered). Hit the grind button and it fills up your filter container in about 10 seconds. Pop that out, close it's lid, put that container into the coffee maker on right and close the lid. Then hit your water preference, I use the 8 ounce button which seems to dispense more than that. Done. Add your creamer or whatever you like and you are set to go. It takes about 2 or 2:30 min total. It's so great using whole beans, grinding it and putting it directly into the machine. You also have the option to fill the reusable filter container with ground coffee, or you can use K-Cups. However, I'm sticking to whole beans and grinding them right here in my kitchen from now on. The Machine is also compact, looks nice and is easy to use and easy to clean. You won't be disappointed. ... show more

  • Does the job - nice machine
Style: Classic Size: Burr Grind & Brew Color: Stainless Steel
This is a fairly compact machine with a footprint equal to or smaller than most standard coffee makers. I like integrated grinder, water container, one-cup service and quick brew, as well as the option to use the insert for a pod (even if I never use it). Unlike some reviews, so far I have not had grinding spillage around the base of the grinder. I like that I have water and beans ready to go each morning. Just grind, install grinding cup, brew. Overall, this is a neat little machine, which I enjoy using. I used a grinder and 12-cup coffee maker for years, then stopped when I didn't want to grind and brew for just one or two cups - plus they both took up much-needed counter space. Following are some points to consider before purchasing. These are why this is a 4-star and not a 5-star review. See photos, too. Point 1: I discovered that my 12 oz mug will overflow if I use the 12 oz cup setting to brew (had to stop the brew cycle), so I use the 10 oz setting to fill this mug. This was a surprise, since the first-use cleaning only shot out 8 oz of water (running water only without grounds through at 10 oz setting per instructions). This is not necessarily a negative - I just had to adjust my thinking/choice depending on the mug I use. Point 2: Grind is not controllable - no variety of settings. Sadly, I don't find the coffee strong or flavorful enough, I assume this is due to the default grinding amount and grit. I have to add a bit of instant coffee (!) to strengthen it. I assume that a stronger coffee bean/darker roast will make a stronger cup, but will have to wait until I've used up the beans I have before testing this. I don't use pods (expensive and strength can't be determined with them). I prefer fresh ground coffee (and even like Taster's Choice instant). Point 3: Grounds cup storage. The cup into which the beans are ground fits nicely into the convenient side storage; HOWEVER, the optional pod insert is too large to store in the same place - the little door won't shut. Since I don't use that pod insert and only use the grinding cup insert, I want to store the pod neatly. This storage should have been sized appropriately to accommodate either. I keep the cleaned grinder cup stored under the grinder. Fortunately, I use an appliance cover, so it will keep out any dust. I will update this review once I've tried other beans, or if anything changes in the future. ... show more

  • Always dirty and seems cheaply made but brews well
Style: Coffeemaker (White) Size: Burr Grind & Brew Color: White
Not the Cuisinart quality of old. Brews well and grinds well, though loud. But the white plastic is constantly dirty, excess grinds spill out every time and coffee splash happens with every pour making it constant needing wiping which I had just done in this photo. so I would not get white. There was no filter in the package which showed it’s included and no luck trying to reach anyone at the company so I just had to and ordered some. Disappointing experience and I’ve had many Cuisinart products over the years. Won’t be back😞 ... show more

  • Ideal for single coffee drinker
Style: Burr Grind & Brew Size: Single Serve Color: Black
I’ve been on the lookout for a single serving coffee maker that doesn’t take up much counter space, and can use both grounds and pods. Cuisinart hit all the marks, with a bonus bean grinder. The machine is intuitively easy to use. Clean up is simple. It doesn’t take up too much counter space. I’m the only coffee drinker in my household, so the typical pitcher style drip coffee is just too big. With this machine, I get a fresh hot cup each time. The carafe is large enough to last me a couple days. The coffee is smooth and needs no paper filter. Temperature is perfectly hot without scalding my tongue. I love the versatility of coffee making options. And the pod-holder (which I haven’t used) stores away neatly in a hidden compartment along the left side. The only improvement would be having some cute color options, but the black and steel match my oven so I can’t really complain. I purchased this on sale for roughly $105. Well worth the value. With Cuisinart, I am hoping this lasts many years of daily use. ... show more
