I bought this on a impulse during the Black Friday sales but ultimately returned due to a defect in the pot. Interesting concept and a relatively moderate price point for these products even at regular price. May be a good choice for someone with limited space wanting to occasionally use for a non rice use. The pressure plate and pot was really bouncy on the unit I got which was annoying. Also, you would need to be very careful releasing the lid as it does open with force almost upending the entire unit. May be difficult to do if also trying to avoid the steam from inside the unit. Weirdly, the newer type screen seems to scare my pets. May have been the very large oval on the screen along with round knobs. Might have been interpreted as an eye? Anyway with the open floor plan I had to completely remove from the living area to keep the peace until it was returned. Ultimately, I went with their multi cooker with the non coated pot and a separate IH pressure rice cooker since I have the space. These units are “older” type units however build quality does seem a bit nicer. Also no one seems to have an issue with these units. Spare parts are also readily available. Always a something to look for with these things. Update: forgot to mention that this does not ship with a steamer tray. Small thing if you never intend to use this for anything other than rice. If not, its an annoyance since it is not an accessory readily available on the manufacturer’s website and this is not an IP so you will need to be careful with another option. ... show more

Really loving this rice cooker so far. We tried the 3 different modes for rice 1st Pressure/Turbo, 2nd Pressure and 3rd Non Pressure. The non pressure cooker is how I'm used to rice cooked and it came out great. The Pressure/Turbo cooked the quickest and the rice was good. I'm not sure what the benefit of just cooking it on Pressure without the turbo. The rice came out fine. The best consistency was with the non-pressure (regular asian rice) cooking method. The warmer lasted quite a long time, at least 20-24 hours. I don't think I'd go over that, the rice gradually turns yellow. I like the nonstick diamond coated pot. It makes washing really easy. Taking off the inner lid to clean is a bit more difficult, the stick is pretty good to the exterior lid. But once you get it it's easy to clean. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I love this rice cooker.💕Chewy and tasty mixed multigrain rice! My 3-year-old son loves it and eats well. I'm very satisfied with the rice cooker with this stylish design. It's easy to use and cooks more quietly than I thought.

I love this rice cooker, I like moisturizing and tender white rice so I cooked it in a High-pressure pot. I found this electric cooker can cook as a pot. Same quality but less effort, I recommend.

Just bought mine today from my local store. Pretty happy with it compared to our previous $60 rice cooker that ended up breaking on us. We usually make brown rice and my favorite part is that the pot has premeasured ratios for water and different kinds of rice. The rice comes out perfect and consistent every time. The pressure cooker does get a little loud when it’s releasing pressure, but it’s not a deal breaker. It does play a cute train noise. ... show more

Love this cooker, it makes perfect rice every time and the warm feature works amazingly well. Don't misplace the manual however, as there isn't one available online at this time. Mine is an expensive white rice cooker that can do nothing else currently, as I have no way of knowing how to set it up without the booklet, and Cuckoo has not seen fit to publish the manual for this one as a PDF yet. ... show more
