    • Very versatile low profile ceiling fan.

I bought this to replace the current ceiling fan in our bedroom because this is a much lower profile than the existing one. It hangs less than half as far down as the existing one which has a couple of advantages. If, by chance, the blades are not perfectly balanced, the fan will not sway as much. There is a balancing kit that allows to to address any imbalance that does exist. I like that there is a remote control to control fan speed and the light brightness as well as color temperature, far easier than having to reach up and pull a couple chains. If there is one possible caveat, it is that this does not use a standard dimmable light bulb, so should the LEDs should fail for any reason, you will have to either replace the fan or do without the light. Now LEDs have a very long life, so it probably won't be a problem and the light panel is made up of many elements, so it may be possible if there is a failure, that it may only be some elements and not the entire light panel. ... show more

I recently added this low-profile black ceiling fan with light to my indoor space, and it’s easily earned a five-star rating. The flush-mount design keeps it sleek and unobtrusive, perfect for a modern look, while the full-function remote and app control make it a breeze to use. The remote handles everything—speed, light dimming, and color temperature—giving me total control without getting up. The light is a standout too, dimmable from 3000K to 6500K with five color temperature options, letting me set the mood just right. I haven't installed it yet. I will update my review once I do so. But the fan appears to be pretty decently made, especially for the price point of less than $50. It has a nice modern appearance. I was a bit worried about ordering an off-brand fan. But it seems comparable in quality to the fans you would buy at the big box stores. The under-mount light looks nice and modern, doesn't look cheap or tacky. And I love that it isn't too bulky. Overall I'm very happy with it, especially at this price point. Sometimes when you come across intelligent packaging, you wonder why everything isn't done this way (laziness? cheapness? other reasons?). Just seeing the bits and bobs separated and labeled into individual bags (made me smile. Then there's the module (black box in pic 2), and the ground wire with a strong, stainless steel clamp and a more intriguing eyelet (pic 3) that you thread the ground wire into (instead of just plain wire). And then the fan blades slot directly into the fan's main column (pic 4), which hopefully means the fan is more stable. ... show more
