Pros: Looks nice, Works great (so far), love that you can control the brightness of it, love that it comes with a remote & batteries. i think it was on sale for around $40ish when we purchased Cons: Not super easy to put together if you don’t already have an idea about what you’re doing. The directions were 90% just pictures so that does make it slightly more difficult. ALSO it did have an awful squeak sound at first but we had to tweak it to get it right - now it’s quiet ( the light cover was rubbing when we switched the fan on - we had to loosen 2 of the screws holding the light in order to fix this issue) that worked or us but you might could also use a few washers to create more of a gap in that area to prevent rubbing. took probably an hour and a half to put up. With that being said - we might get one for our living room eventually - now we know how it goes together - and if it squeaks, we know that it’s probably the light cover rubbing together so we can tweak it again if so ... show more

The app is sketchy, gotta use light switch to enter pairing mode, build quality is cheap, and I had to find an adapter to fit my 1950s house. All that said, it's pretty amazing for the price!! I'll update my review if it fails, but it only costs as much as 2 fancy Edison led bulbs...
