I’ve had this ball for about 10 months now and it’s progressively gotten more difficult to unscrew the ball to flip the filter and clean. It is now stuck and I can’t open it. Looks like other reviewers have had the same problem. They should fix this since the housing itself is almost $30 Update: I contacted customer service and they helped. Told me the water pressure could make it too tight to open. I could either soak it in hot water for 15 min to loosen it up (didn't work), or drop it on its seam to force it loose (this worked). ... show more

I am uncertain why any of the reviews say that this works to filter chlorine. We recently moved into our home which is on city water and when taking baths, the entire bathroom (which has no windows and a poor fan) smells strongly of chlorine when bathing. In effort to mitigate this, we purchased this bath bomb and there was absolutely no difference in smell. We then ended up purchasing both the Berkey shower filter and the pHprescriptions handheld shower filter that is specifically for chlorine and the chlorine smell was completely gone. We are now using the berkey in our shower that doesn't have a tub and the pHPrescriptions handheld shower to fill our tub. Unfortunately, this was a total waste of money. ... show more
