    • Burns food on warm. Boils soup on warm. Awful unit!
Awful. Doesn’t have good temp control. Bought this rather expensive unit hoping it would live up to its reviews. It doesn’t. Ours is constantly burning food on the left side even on warm. Warm setting actually is so hot soups literally boil. Doesn’t matter how we clean it. Crock and aluminum liner are always kept spotless. Doesn’t matter. “Set it and forget it” means a dinner that is ruined every single time. No, not our first, we’ve owned many slow cookers but this is absolutely the worst. Gave up tonight when the beef stew burnt black on the left corner when we simply tried to warm it. It went in the trash tonight. Buying a different brand tomorrow. Wouldn’t purchase this old “faithful “ brand again. ... show more

Love this crockpot. Have cooked several meals in it and it does a marvelous job each time. The only thing to be aware of is that it does tend to cook a little hot ( on low it tends to make things like chili boil). Overall, really great addition to the kitchen.

    • Modern quality, not as robust as 20 years ago.
A rare win with buying refurbished instead of brand new. Everything works and was included in the box. Heats fine, cleans up easy, not as high quality as the 20 year old one that it replaced. The push buttons will eventually wear out better to have a potentiometer knob, but it's what's offered.
