Would be five stars but the description was inaccurate. If you don't care whether or not the comb is actual sandalwood this wont matter. I bought this for my hair (top of head, not facial). For that purpose it is almost exactly what I wanted. I was hoping it would be a little bigger than it is, but the size matches the dimensions in the description so that's on me. I probably won't use it with my beard. Which is short enough that it doesn't need the coarse side for detangling. Mean while the fine teeth on the other side don't feel like they are really doing anything. I'm pretty sure they actually are, and that if my beard was long and flowing it would become apparent. But I have another comb I like better for my beard anyways, so it's a moot point. All of the packaging it came with say it is made of verawood. That it's made from verawood instead of sandalwood doesn't particularly matter to me. It smells nice either way. But it's not what was in the description when when I placed the order, so I deducted a star. If you have your heart set on sandalwood do elsewhere. Made in China if you care. ... show more

This comb works but it’s definitely not a high quality comb in my opinion. It’s a “unfinished” wood and completely different from my previous sandlewood comb.

This is a great beard comb and it is actually of high quality sandal wood. I got a similar comb that was a chinese knockoff from a hacker conference a few years ago that I threw away that had splinters and had a terrible finish. This comb is the real deal and indeed, static free. The smell is unmatched and made me convinced to buy other products by this company. I've been using this comb for weeks without any issues and it continues to smell like sandalwood.     • Splinters and shallow teeth make a lousy comb
Not effective at working through medium or long beards. The sharp and splintered teeth damage hair more than soothe it. Bulky design and small shape causes pulling and breakage. Very disappointed.
