Phenomenal product. Switched from Phillips Norelco, and this is a tight, nick-free shave. The adjustable guard keeps me from losing attachments and makes the whole process quicker. Waterproof makes it so easy to clean. Only downside I can find is it's a bit bulky compared to other beard trimmers.

First things first. The trimmer is awesome. It’s smooth and comfortable. Incredibly easy to use and simple to maintain. It has acceptable battery life. It really is an awesome product for the price. I’ve always been a big fan of other Panasonic electronics and they delivered again here. The trimmer’s functionality is outstanding. Unfortunately, the package is held back by one (YMMV) flaw. The charger. It’s a heavyish base station design but with no cord. It just plugs directly into the wall and the trimmer sits vertically above it when plugged in. It’s awkward to say the least. I have to charge it in my bedroom because that’s literally the only outlet in my house capable of the task. Despite the charger I really do like the trimmer. The value and functionality more than make up for the wonky charger. I would recommend this trimmer for sure provided you have a capable outlet to charge it. ... show more

I had the original for many years and was looking to upgrade. This one seemed like a deal but I found a lot of the metal parts had been replaced with plastic. That wasn't a deal breaker, however the blade wasn't as good as cutting hair above the lip. I can lay the blade on my lip against mustache hair that has grown too long and it won't cut it. Not sure if I have to look for something specific to do that or if I just need a higher quality blade. ... show more
