I use it for mustache and beard trimming. The trimmer I had before lasted me 12 years before it died. In switching to this new one I was impressed at how easily and accurately it trimmed. My guess is my old one was just wearing down over the years and the change was so gradual that I didn't notice. This trimmer is a significant improvement! Like many such trimmers, it includes a number of attachments that I'll never use. This package included some trim combs for hair which I won't use, a nasal hair trimmer (not sure I feel great about putting a spinning cutter up my nostrils), a very narrow trim head for 'detailed' trimming, and 3 combs that trim facial hair to a specific length. I'll use the main trimmer and one or two of the beard combs. The rest of the attachments will go in a drawer never to be see again. There's nothing wrong with them; I just need a basic trimmer to keep my mustache even and beard from getting scraggly. My older shaver (which quit working) had more settings and was a little easier to hold, but this one is a lot lighter and easier to use since there are no cords to work around. It cuts well, does a nice job and was a good price. I have used it to cut my hair and my wife's hair. I really like it.

I love the instant removable rinsable blade feature! I’ve used previous chargeable clippers that would weaken quickly. Have done 2 self haircuts on a single charge. This trimmer is awesome. Worked great, high speed, trimmed close with no pulling. Lots of attachments. Then it just stopped working which is unusual for a Norelco product. My Norelco shavers work for years. I was beyond the Amazon 30 day return period so I called Norelco Customer Service and after running through a few checks, they sent me a new trimmer so I’m back loving this product and the service. ... show more

The only thing I don't like about this is that there is no battery status or charge indicator. The battery is very long lasting, I haven't needed to charge it since I got it and I use it about 3 times a week. But if you are going to travel with it take the charger as you won't know when it will need charging. Beside that it is easy to use. The attachments are easily removed and replaced. Bought this for my dad as a gift. I have a different model that is not made any longer, so I bought this one. I am a big fan of Philips Norelco products. My dad said that he likes it. Charged quickly and has lasted for a while. He said that it gets the job done! The only issue that he had was trouble switching out the trimmer head for nose hair and edging tool, and said there were no instructions, just pictures on the box. I did go to the site and downloaded some instructions, but he is not the most tech-savvy senior guy, so I don't think he has opened his email. It trims his beard and attachments for his hair, so he is happy. My next trip home, I am sure I will be instructing him on how to swap out the heads so he can take advantage of all the stuff. ... show more
