    • Works way better than non-chlorinated

I replaced the front and rear brakes on my truck. I tried the cheap stuff from one of the local retail stores but that stuff just evaporated without cleaning. Then I purchased this brand but the non-chlorinated stuff and it did ok. Then I bought this chlorinated stuff and was totally impressed by how well it worked and cleaned the brake areas. From now on I’m using this chlorinated stuff when working on my vehicles. It really cleans the dirt and oil. The only issue was that it takes time to dry. Nonetheless, dry time is much better than repeated use from the other stuff which doesn’t work anywhere near as well. Unless you’re working on something that doesn’t recommend chlorinated solvents, save yourself time and money with this brake cleaner. ... show more

    • This is the stuff you want if you can get it

OK so chlorinated solvent suck for the environment. But this is the stuff that really works. I also wonder if the non-chlorinated solvent aren't worse for the environment because to really get something clean you'd have to use three cans of the green to match one can of the red Brake clean.

Not only can this be used on brake parts, but it is excellent for removing spray tint off of your taillights! It falls right off when spraying through the straw.
