Sea Foam Motor Treatment works to dissolve and clean fuel deposits and sticky residues from gas and diesel fuel injectors, carburetors, and combustion chambers. Sea Foam helps to stabilize stored fuel for up to two years by resisting evaporation, preserving ignition vapors, and preventing the formation of gum and varnish. Sea Foam lubricates upper cylinders and helps to protect the entire fuel system from dry out, wear and corrosion. Sea Foam only contains petroleum-based ingredients. It does NOT have harsh detergent or abrasive chemicals that can harm your engine. The more you add to fuel, the better it cleans.

I can’t guarantee you this will work for everyone, but for all the cars at home, Seafoam has worked wonders. Most recently, I failed emissions in a 99 Wrangler. Well taken care of, but not driven a crazy amount. Not wanting to invest a heavy amount at the shop, I grabbed a can of this and gave it a go. Follow the instructions, that’s important, and use a funnel especially to access the gas tank. After mixing this with fresh gasoline, I took it to the DMV after about three or four days. Passed my emissions test with zero issue. What you may notice after putting it in your car: you may notice nothing, or you may notice an increase in exhaust output. I had a significant amount of sooty material come out when on the highway. Happened once and didn’t happen again. If your car seems to be acting up or running, rough, give this a try as a cost-effective attempt to give it an internal cleaning. ... show more
