Great price for a 55 gallon drum of brake cleaner! Cost about 1/2 per gallon of what I had used before (ZEP in 20 gallon drums). The cleaner works well, and evaporates quickly. The smell is different from the ZEP brand (which also worked very well) but that's the only thing our techs have said about it - and if it didn't work well, I'd hear about it from them!     • Would recommend to stay away from this brake cleaner
This stuff is strong, but smells horrible, stinks up the whole shop. All my mechanics hate this product, burns eyes and throat when inhaled. I'm taking about one mechanic using it, and other mechanics across the shop suffering. On top of the fowl Oder, this stuff destroyed all my pumps, hoses, and even ate through my aluminum spray cans. This stuff does more damage and harm then good. I've been using zep brake cleaner for a while without any issues. Would not recommend for shop use. ... show more

    • Works good but contains acetone
This stuff works good as brake cleaner but it contains acetone and it will destroy almost every pump you're trying to use. I wasted several hundred dollars ruining barrel pumps and hand sprayers until I finally found the ones that won't self-destruct when using it in combination with this brake cleaner. ... show more
