Yes, there were a lot of screws, but very sturdy, easy to assemble. Took an hour to assemble. The cover wraps under about an inch on all sides & has elastic bands at corners to pull it tight. Great product . We are very pleased with it.

Easy to assemble, but did not lay flat on bed frame. Where it came together in center was 4 and 1/2 inches. I’m not sure why. After putting on frame, and adding mattress, lying on bed was like being on see-saw. Very disappointing but looks like manufacturers could easily recess area in middle to advertised 4” to remedy situation. Thanks ... show more

Everything was wrapped- labeled- and all the parts were in the bags- nothing missing! Brand new- didn't get used opened up bags! -the metal was good quality! The only thing I didn't like was the cover- it was cheaper than expected- it slips on the box spring like a fitted sheet slips on a mattress. However, it looked good - just not durable. I recently transitioned from a king size bed to a twin because I downsized from a house to an apartment. A friend offered me an antique Victorian bedframe with a new(ish) mattress and box spring. The problem is that the combination of old frame and modern bedding made it too tall for me to comfortably get in and out of bed. A nine inch spring plus a nine inch mattress resulted in a bed surface taller than my hip. The answer was a low profile box spring!
