I've loved Silly Putty for at least 60 years. Was so much fun when I was a kid. Was fun for my kids and grands, and now my great-grands! Besides being fun, it helped me quit smoking by giving my hands something to do. I keep some close (small pieces) at all times and to fiddle with for anxiety.

I was actually told that silly putty helps seperate sections of molds so resin doesn't flow everywhere. I have a mold I was trying to section off. I first tried tape and hot glue and it was a bit messy. Someone on my crafting group mentioned silly putty is a good item to use as a barrier.     • Great to use for swimming for your ears!
This item was hard to find in any local stores. I found it on Amazon at a great price. Our family used it for swimming at the beach, we molded it to our ears so no water would go in. It kept the water out and we could still reuse it multiple times! Will buy more when we use it all! Great product!

    • Harder than I remember
This would make a nice novelty gift but I doubt it is the "Original" recipe. It is much harder than I remember, not very pliable. There is no scent to it. For the price, and receiving 3, it is worth it, but it would be better if we could order in singles instead of 3 individual packs.

The silly putty serves as a fidgeting tool to keep fingers busy, instead of biting nails. My Counselor recommended. The putty is quality and serves the purpose! Like that it has a 3 pack, so I keep in various locations.

Like other reviews, this stuff feels like it’s from the 90s. There’s like gritty sand in it? It still can be played with has worked for what I got it for (stress and adhd fidgeting tool to put in my purse). This has a horrid smell to it. Unfortunately it's going stright into the trash. Very disappointing from a Crayola product.

    • Waterproof!
Easy to mold to fit into ears to keep water out when swimming. Important to me as I suffer from serious ear infections from water!
