  • Great For Twins!
I bought this stroller because I was traveling to Mexico with my almost two year old twins. I owned an Evenflo Pivot Xpand but it was too bulky and they seemed to have outgrown it a bit. I also wanted a side by side stroller that I could use after the vacation as well. I mostly wanted to use at the airport because I had a long layover. Long story story short: a wheel had come off when it was delivered to me at the gate in Mexico. You’d think I’d notice that right? Well I didn’t. I sat my cranky twins (after a long flight even moms were cranky and ready to go) all my bags and took off. The stroller never tilted to one side ever. I didn’t realize a wheel was missing until it was pointed out by my mother in law once we got to their house. I freaked out because I called the airline and they said the plane had already left to the US and they didn’t see a wheel anywhere. So I thought, I’m doomed. I couldn’t find a replacement I could by locally and the official site didn’t deliver to Mexico. However, this stroller held up so well that I was able to use it several times without the wheel while in Mexico and back home after the vacation like a champ. This made me appreciate it even more than before. I ordered a replacement wheel and now I have a complete stroller again, yay! It folds up pretty easily, you do need to put some muscle in it, but it’s doable. I love how wide and comfy the bar to push it is. It folds up pretty flat. I haven’t figured out how to make it stand while folded though. So I just recline it against a wall. It fit through all the doors I walked through without any issues. This was one of my concerns. Storage space: not much storage space compared to the Evenflo Pivot Xpand, however, the space below is good enough for my needs. Won’t fit a backpack but you can hang it from the bar. I bought a parent console to put my phone, bottles and toys. That is a must buy. Handling: I love how fancy it feels maneuvering around. I’ve taken it on gravel, grass, asphalt and smooth surfaces. Set up: incredibly easy! Literally just pop the wheel in and you’re done. Shade: I love how the shades protect my kids from the sun if i lower it all the way. Ten Peek a boo windows are great to keep an eye on them. Recline: It reclines practically flat, which is something I wanted in case my kids had to nap in the airport. They did and it was incredible to have them sleep for almost two hours during my long layover. Overall: it’s an awesome stroller. I really like it and I’m happy with my splurge. I got it for 500 on Amazon and it is so worth it. My kids seem comfy in it and they love going for walks. If you’re on the fence about getting it, think about how my stroller handled my twins like a pro with only 3 wheels. It’s great, I love it! ... show more

  • Easy to Use and Push
I'm a previous owner of the single City Mini GT - a stroller I liked a lot. When we needed a double stroller, I was initially very much against a side-by-side and we bought an in-line double because I thought it would be a better option in the city. Well...babies have their likes and dislikes too: our youngest hated the in-line and I also found it ungainly, and difficult to maneuver. After a few months struggling, we decided to look for another stroller. We bought the new version of the City Mini GT Double, the GT2 and I really just wish we had gotten this to begin with. Pros: -Pushes and turns really easily, even with a heavy preschooler in one seat -folds small and fits almost anywhere. -even though it is heavy, it is not difficult to carry because of the fold and carry straps. -seats recline almost flat -basket is much improved over previous version - elastic sides and front access make it much easier to get things in and out. -new foot rests are nice, especially for younger kids. -Seat back height can accommodate taller kids (my 3 year old is 41" and many doubles are too short for him). Cons: -With a heavy child in one seat, it can be hard to push on surfaces like wood chips or gravel. -All Wheel suspension means everything has a bit more give, which feels a little less solid and sturdy than the previous version (maybe this is just something I need to get used to). - Can be difficult to get in and out of doors where there are sets of inner and then outer doors. -Even though basket access is easier, there still isn't a ton of storage space. Were I to go back, I would buy this from the beginning without hesitation - it is perfect for my everyday needs with two small kids (of very different heights and weights). If you need more serious off-road capabilities (you hike more regularly or walk on gravel paths a lot etc), I'd get a Double BOB, but for anyone else this is an ideal double stroller. ... show more

  • Super-usable Side-by-side Double Pushchair
As side-by-side pushchairs go, this is by far the best that we have tried. We also have a single City Mini GT and this isn't actually much wider. The same one-handed folding mechanism from the seat is there and works really well (unless you have a glider installed - it has to be folded down or the chair won't close properly. The wheels are just brilliant, easy to push on pretty much any surface and the front wheels don't get caught up when hitting something larger, which has been a problem for us with our last double. The adjustable handlebar is solid and just the right diameter and material too. Height is good for me (6'7") and my wife (5'3). The storage on the City Mini GT was really good, but this is, understandably, even better and easier to get access to from the side as well. Manoeuvrability is surprisingly good and feels very light when pushing and turning and despite the extra width, so far has gone through most single doors without issue. Our girls nap at different times and the individually adjustable backrests have been extremely useful. To sum up, if you need a side-by-side pushchair that is easy to push, turn and actually fits through doors, this is a great option. ... show more

  • Good for older toddler & baby
I struggled to find a double that would fit my tall 4yo (45”) and new infant. I landed on this one and am very happy with my choice. Yes it’s a little pricey and attachments are sold separately, but I was able to adapt it to be exactly what I needed with the snack tray for my toddler + pram attachment for my baby. It handles well and fits easily on most sidewalks/paths. It’s also Disneyland approved. Fits easily in the back of my Toyota Venza with room to spare. Only big-ish con is the underneath storage is somewhat small and hard to access. We ended up getting an off-brand (“Booyah”) organizer for the handlebar and it works great and helps that storage problem. ... show more
