This has been great for trail management, cleaning up hunting sites, sectioning up small trees for campfire wood, cutting low branches. The charge on a battery lasts a good while. It think the estimation of 60 cuts is accurate, though I wasn't counting the trees were cut. There were many. I suppose one could buy another battery if they need longer life, but I think the idea of this saw is for those quick little jobs here and there, not all day lumberjacking... ... show more

Works great for around the yard stuff like down limbs. Not for dropping big trees but is handy for around the yard or trail riding! Instead of having to crank your chainsaw every 50 yards to cut limbs! Just make sure you carry extra batteries!

Got this chainsaw for grazing pasture maintenance. Use it to cut small cedars and some other small trees that may not be appropriate for silvopasture development. It is a lot easier to pack this little saw around that my Husqvarna 266, 24" bar gas saw. b Battery life is good enough for me. I have a 4 amp/hr and 5 amp/hr battery I take with me. I use canola oil for bar oil and the saw just doesn't seem to use much bar oil. Seems to use just enough to keep the chain lubricated. Hope it lasts. I love the little saw. ... show more

I've been a gas chainsaw guy my whole life. My dad has a big 22" stihl from the 90s and I have a 20" farm boss and wev both ran through about 10 winters worth of firewood. I grabbed this up as something small and convenient to toss in the truck before winter hits, as I live on a dead end with widowmakers lining the whole street. We'll my aunt called me out to come take a look at her house and there's about three downed trees and ten sucker trees that she wanted taken care of. All I had on me was the 20v pole saw (which I have to laugh, that did all the work for the first half hour and I was beginning to wonder if the chainsaw was even going to get any mileage today) but after cutting up every downed tree and logging down the ten sucker trees (which turns out were osage, lucky me, can't wait for my new axe handles in another three years), this chainsaw held true the whole time, only skipping the chain when I accidentally twisted. Regardless, not only did it damn well pay for itself, I'm recommending this little baddy to all my fellow DIYers, homesteaders, farmers and disaster releifers ... show more
