very comfy to sit on and the back is about the same height as my kitchen counter. I had to modify these because the front edge of the seat was lower than the rear of the seat making us slide off them. I discovered some staples and foam under the rear frame. I removed these staples and foam to change the angle of the seat. I found that it was not enough so I added 2 washers to the front of the steel frame. This was just enough to change the seat angle to prevent us from slipping out. One of the cross braces stripped out so I added 1 5/8" sheet rock screws to lock it in place and help secure the seat to the frame due to the shorter bolt to seat nut penetration. One of the stools I found the legs were crooked, I removed them and reversed front to back their mounting and it straightened them right up. After my modifications they are very comfortable and I love the backs on them. I think the price was very good for an upholstered stool. I ordered 4 of them.

The media could not be loaded. First off, I really like these barstools - the look nice, are comfortable, and arrived timely from the 3rd party seller. Regarding assembly - you will absolutely need a power drill to tighten the screws all the way and will likely need a second person to assist with assembly. It was a huge headache to attempt alone. The reasoning behind the power drill, you ask? Well, some of the screw holes were not aligned with the support bars at the feet and the screw holes were also smaller than the screws, so we had to force some in. Only 2 of the 3 stools were able to be fully assembled and the third, we are working with customer service on a solution. Overall, if we do get a replacement - I’ll change my review because I do love the chairs. They are stylish, comfortable, and sturdy and give you that perfect mid-century modern feel. The seat is wide and the foot bar is reachable for a 5’5 (probably someone shorter as well). I love the camel color option. Update: they have quickly resolved my issue and reported it to the manufacturer to decrease the odds of this happening again.

Update to the review below. The company contacted me and offered to send a newly redesigned barstool. They added some pieces to the bottom and the change significantly stiffened the structure of the legs. I'm much happier with them now and they've assured me that this new design has permanently replaced the old design. They still need sliders which are easy to find on Amazon and look fine. I'm very happy with this seller's response to my issues. Very disappointed in these barstools. The best thing about them are the looks. Everything else is very low quality. The legs are too thin, the bolts that holds them together back out way too easy. You have to tighten them up every other day or so or the chairs wobble and feel like they're going to collaspe. Not a chance they would hold up to a 300lb person with any success. The feet damaged my floor. You have to buy chair sliders if you don't want them damaging your floor. That was another $15. They are ok for small kids to sit on. They will not hold up to adults and are NOT worth the money. Not close.

The chairs look nice but they are not constructed well. They get loose and wobbly even after you tighten everything. We don’t sit on them, and after a few days, they are wobbly again. I def would not but. I wish I would’ve used the money towards ones that are better quality

The chairs are sturdy. They are exactly as expected and comfortable however, I am very disappointed because one of the chairs is missing the tip on the end of one leg causing the chair to rock. It was almost great. Hopefully i can just get that piece or ill have to send them all back ugh.
