Super cheap md the Velcro makes a mess of the fabric. If you only need it for a very short time it’s n ok value, but if you’re gonna need it for an eye def amount of time I would definitely suggest spending more

This is not as tight at the other waist bands I have, but it's comfortable. It doesn't smell or has a lot of color to it to make it more fun to wear, but I think I'll keep it. I do like that it's comfortable to wear.

If you are a portly gent like me or a lady of generous proportions or possibly great with child, you are used to most things not fitting even those described as for folks like us. Set your mind at ease, this will fit. I got the XXL and once I got it around me and fastened I have an extra 20 inches! I will apply it differently next time. I wish it came with good directions. There is a “loop” strip covering the “hook” strip attached to the end of the wrap and its function is never explained. However, the connection between the hook strip and the fuzzy side of the wrap is extremely aggressive and very difficult to separate. This makes for a very secure connection and no worries about it coming apart. I have had a couple of abdominal surgeries and diastasis recti as well as degenerative disc disease. This abdominal binder gives gentle moderate support and makes me feel better.

Another reviewer thought there was something defective about the binder, as it only has Velcro in one place. This is how every surgical binder I've had is made. The piece that reviewer mentioned as being stuck to the Velcro is a protector piece, to keep it from sticking to itself in transit. When you receive it, you remove that piece, wrap the binder around you, and press the ONE PIECE of Velcro/hook-and-eye closure material to anywhere on the binder (creating limitless adjustment capabilities), and it sticks. You can either throw away that protective piece, or keep it to cover the Velcro when you wash the binder. I've unfortunately had MANY binders due to abdominal surgeries, so I'm pretty familiar with them. This binder stretches well, attaches strongly, and holds well. I do find that I prefer the 4-panel binders that are 12" wide, rather than this 3-panel (9") style. This particular binder is a comfortable material, more comfortable than most, but because of the shape of my body and the section I need covered by the binder (more than 9" top to bottom), I find that this one is rolling a bit when I sit down, etc. That's not unusual for binders in general, so that's not really a negative. But if you're looking for one that just won't roll, this isn't going to be the best choice for you if you have to keep it fairly tight.

This support belt is great - not a fancy, overpromoted item, but more a very flexible one with no frills, but overall applicable and useful. As some reviewers note, the pilling does happen as the hook-and-loop fastener is applied and removed, as is the case with any such item that is affordable. It is nice that the manufacturer includes the soft-faced portion of the hook-and-loop fastener, in case I would want to sew it onto a specific place on the belt. However, I accept the pilling as a feature of keeping the belt more flexible. If it were to have the hook-and-loop applied across its entirety, we would be paying much more for this item. Overall, this is perfect for my uses - a good item.
