  • Serious steam cleaning power!
Set name: 905
Coming from years of using small handheld steamers, I was expecting something similar here. I was wrong. This steamer is a serious cleaning tool, not a small quiet household gadget. It puts out a strong amount of steam, has impressive pressure, and is loud enough at first to remind you that you are working with something powerful. That is not necessarily a bad thing, but it does mean it needs to be treated with care. Definitely need to be careful around children. The cleaning performance is top notch. I started just planning to try it on my shower floor. It worked so well I moved onto the sink, toilet, floor, kitchen sink, tires. Spent about 3 hours just moving around the housing seeing what I could steam clean next. Anywere there was hard to reach areas I had a go. It handled grime and buildup that regular scrubbing and chemical cleaners had not fully removed. It lifted everything. Even removed rust stains, which was a huge surprise. It also seemed to pull odors out of fixtures and left everything smelling truly clean rather than just covered up with cleaning products. It's pretty easy to use. It will take about 10 minutes to heat up, and the 40-ounce tank gives you a decent amount of cleaning time before needing a refill. The pressure stayed consistent while still being light enough to carry around the house even when full. It came with a decent variety of attachments, though I am going to need to get the floor attachment for the tile in the bathroom given how well it cleaned everything else. There are a few minor nitpicks. The front storage compartment is handy but it only holds a few attachments, has a few slots for attachments I didn't receive and everything else needs to be stored separate. Including a bag for the extra piece would have been nice. I ended up getting an aftermarket bag to keep it all together but it should have been inclueded. Another mention that this is not a little handleheld, it's powerful and you need to be aware of the damage it could do. The steam and attachments get very hot. There's a safety cover for the hose and a safety grip for the handle but eveything still get very very hot so you need to be careful when handling and switching attachements. Also, once pressurized, you need to release pressure and let it cool before removing the cap. Overall, this is a powerful and effective steam cleaner that goes well beyond surface-level cleaning. It is great for sanitizing, removing grit/grime and reaching areas that are hard to clean by hand. I do wish the storage design and accessory kit were better. In all a good value for a powerful cleaning unit. ... show more

  • No onboard storage for hose/cord and the enhancement kit is a poor addition. No onboard storage for hose/cord and the enhancement kit is a poor addition.
Set name: 925
On the bench today, I’ve got the Wagner Spraytech 2494399 925e Elite Steamer Multi-Purpose Mop with 20 Accessories for Chemical-Free Steam Cleaning, Hardwood Floors, Tile, and More I have to start off by saying that the “enhancement kit” that they included is terribly done and makes it seem so much cheaper and poorly made than the steamer itself is. That kit includes some cheap flimsy and bent up wire loom to put over the hose to help protect it and a Velcro neoprene like little sleeve to put onto the handle but since it has Velcro squared and slim the way it does, there really is no way for your hand not to feel the sharp edges of it so I really don’t see how it’s not better without that on the handle. I also really dislike how there is no form of hose or cord organization on the steamer base. It has the good little nose storage that can hold most of the attachments but they did nothing whatsoever to do with the hose or the power cord so they’re just going to be all laying out wherever you want to store the device. If the hose was able to be disconnected then that would have at least allowed you to hang it coiled on a wall but it won’t so you can’t. All they gave was a little Velcro strip to wrap around the power cord. The little compartment in the nose has a few spots for you to snap the small nozzle, a small brush, larger brush and the small wand adapter into their own place but it is also large enough that you can just dump all of the other smaller attachments in there to keep up with too since the lid snaps closed securely. So just the triangle steam mop, the fabric steamer and the measuring cup won’t fit in there. Even the little funnel will if you angle it right. The actual steamer itself isn’t bad. Tho it does only have a 40oz capacity which I was hoping it would have more than that when I ordered it. I’m not sure they had that information on the listing at the time of my order but I do see it in the details now so maybe it was. Overall, this definitely does have more capability than the Shark lift away Steam Mop I’ve had for a number of years now and compared this Wagner to but I’m not sure I’d consider it worth close to double the price. It does have a bit more wattage and should have a bit more storage capacity with a few extra attachment capabilities tho so I’m not saying it should cost more than that one. I’d consider this a good value in the $140-150 range but in the $190 range from the time of my order, it seems like a pretty poor value, and that enhancement kit just makes it feel cheap and a very poorly done afterthought addition. ... show more

  • Makin’ it fun to clean! Makin’ it fun to clean!
Set name: 905
I’ve been a big fan of steam cleaners for many years. This is my fourth. It’s fun to see how technology advances, but not so much with the steam cleaners. This one may heat up a little faster than I’m used to. And it doesn’t saturate things as much as others have. And it may be a little more powerful. I cleaned the house with it. My favorite thing to clean were floorboards. Bast and wipe. Just instant gratification. Really fast and easy. It seems so powerful but it doesn’t rip the paint off. I also liked cleaning all of the toilet crevices. Just protect your face! Stay alert! Nasty stuff starts flying! I also cleaned my car with it. Blast and then wipe. It’d be so nice if we could just blast and not have to wipe but we’re not there yet. It’s also be great if we could wear it on our backs like Ghost Busters and not have to stop and plug it in everywhere. Maybe battery ones are out there, I haven’t checked. It’s odd that there’s no place to wrap up the cord. There are a lot of attachments so I had gotten a little tote for all of them but now I’m gonna get a bigger tote to store the whole machine with the parts. Then the cord can go nuts, I won’t care. And I definitely don’t want to lose the water-filler-upper thing because the machine is not clear so there’s no fill-to line. You have to just fill the water thing twice to know it’s full. I felt like I got a lot done with one fill up. Cleaning with steam cleaners really is so fun. Going on the hunt for grimy crevices and what not and blasting them clean. The wiping after is not so fun but still better than rag and spray any day. And healthier. ... show more

  • Industrial Power for the Home – Serious Deep Cleaning Industrial Power for the Home – Serious Deep Cleaning
Set name: 925
If you are looking for a casual, quiet household appliance, this isn't it. This is a legitimate, industrial-grade tool that puts out a serious volume of steam. It is loud—honestly, a bit alarming at first—but that sound serves as a constant reminder of the power you’re handling. As a parent of three young children, I actually appreciate that it demands respect and careful use. The Deep Clean Results I’ve tackled every bathroom in my house with this, and the results were shocking: The Scent Test: When I started, I was surprised by the smells that were pulled up from deep within the fixtures—odors that chemicals and my electric scrubber never touched. By the time I was done, there was a total lack of smell. It achieves a level of clean that feels near surgical. Rust Removal: This was the biggest surprise. I went over the screws on the base of the toilet and watched it completely strip away years of rust, leaving them perfectly shiny. Stains: It effortlessly wiped away pink shower stains that had been there for an embarrassingly long time. While it couldn't remove some deep, permanent grout staining (which I now realize is likely a permanent fixture of the tile), it handled every organic mess with ease. Safety & Design Given how hot and powerful the steam is, safety is my top priority. The Lock: The handle features a red toggle switch that acts as a secure lock mode. It is stiff and secure enough that my children couldn't operate it, which gives me great peace of mind. Handling: I treat this with the same precaution I would any heavy-duty power tool. I am careful to lock it between uses and let it cool down in a space completely inaccessible to my kids. Steam burns are a real risk with a machine this powerful, so it requires an attentive operator. Bottom Line If you want to move beyond surface-level cleaning and truly sanitize your home without a cocktail of chemicals, this is the tool. It’s powerful, it’s loud, and it’s effective. Just treat it with the respect an industrial tool deserves! ... show more

  • Steam is a big boost to cleaning power Steam is a big boost to cleaning power
Set name: 925
A friend of mine has the version of this steamer with fewer attachments and I thought it was awesome. I got a no-name copycat, which I nicknamed my WagNOT, and it was awesome for the less than 10 uses I got out of it before it was leaking out the back, steam stopped being steam and just random jets of hot water and the mop attachment broke. When the Wagner was delivered, I called my friend to tell her that I had gotten one and she jokingly said "Don't burn yourself, there's a recall." and mumbled something under her breath questioning who steam cleans in shorts. Wait? Whaaaat? She was right, there was a recall because the hose and handle could get hot enough to burn you and the company has an extra wrap for the hose and a piece for the handle that can be added. Those were already in my box with a separate set of instructions. The recall was only 1.5 months ago and the units shipping already have the additional parts, to me that's impressive. That additional "cord wrap" is kinda clunky and could benefit from coming with a zip tie for each end Of course, the steamer is great for floors, and the heat works against the overspray of oil that makes a thin coating on the ground in front of my air fryer, but I also wanted to share my favorite uses that might not immediately come to mind. 1. The metal coils of an electric stovetop. The steam and brush work to get any gunk off of it and being just steam the next time you use it there is no smoke from leftover cleaning agents. 2. The gasket on a front-loading washing machine that gets gross and is a source of foul odors. Heat kills mold and no chemicals to worry about transferring into your laundry. 3. The bottom track of a sliding glass door or the side tracks on a window. I live in an old apartment building and using the steam cleaner on those spots made a huge difference in how easy they are to move, and eliminated the teeth clenching metal on metal scrape that the sliding glass door would make which acted like an ON switch for the downstairs neighbor's dog to bark any time day or night. My only complaint is the power cord and what to do with it. It does come with a velcro wrap attached, but it would be nice to have, similar to a vacuum, hooks on the side to loop it back and forth on. I'm using the velcro to wrap it and attach to the handle, and something more intentional would be preferred. ... show more

  • Very comprehensive, high quality steamer set Very comprehensive, high quality steamer set
Set name: 915
This is the third steamer I’ve owned but this is by far the best. Though the price is higher than some other steamers, in this case you are getting what you pay for. The set comes with a plethora of attachments, including some with brass bristles to use for heavy duty things like cleaning the grill. The attachments fit inside the steamer casing which is really a bonus. The steamer is high powered and really gets the job done. Things I use it for include: - Cleaning the area where the cooktop and the counter meet (as well as my cooktop itself) - cleaning around the sinks and faucets in kitchen and bathrooms - The detergent dispenser for my washing machine - The grates for our grill - The area around our flattop grill - Our flooring in the kitchen, foyer, and hallway - The tiles in our bathrooms, especially the grout - Around d the base of the toilets - Freshening the sofas, chairs, and mattresses I do like to have a wet/dry vac with me when I’m doing heavy cleaning so that I can vacuum up any residual dirty water from what I’ve just cleaned (for example the bathroom floors). When I’m doing things like the cooktop, simply having a rag with me is fine. When you’re planning your cleaning sessions, keep in mind that when the water runs out in the tank you do have to wait for the whole element to cool down before you can remove the cap and add more water. This is going to be true of any steamer. So plan for something to do during that downtime if you have a big job planned. The steamer is easy to be moved around while you’re working and it’s very easy to move between attachments. If you’re big into steam cleaning like I am, this will be well worth the price you pay for it. ... show more

  • Awesome steam cleaner with good steam pressure Awesome steam cleaner with good steam pressure
Set name: 915
I have been wanting to get a steamer for some time just because there are always so many hard to clean surfaces and crevices. This Wagner steamer comes with 18 attachments although some of them are extras of the ones provided, such as the wire and nylon brushes. I tried this out on the floor, trim, toilet, and the sink. As you can see in the pictures it was able to get this stain off the sink that I couldn't scrub off on my own without even breaking a sweat. It takes about 9-10 minutes to heat up and be fully ready. When looking for a steamer I was trying to balance power while still being easily mobile. I think this one hit those marks well. The front compartment holds most of the small attachments, the large one like the floor mop and the wallpaper removal head obviously can't fit in there so you will want a bag or box to store those in. Be careful when switching attachments after you already have started steam cleaning at, they will be quite hot. I just use a towel to cover it so I can safely pull it off with my hand. It holds about 40 ounces of water which will do quite a bit of work before needing a refill. The steam pressure is really nice and didn't have any issues with the pressure keeping up while I was working. The main thing to keep in mind is that once you have the water heated up and you need to refill you need to let it cool down for about 30 minutes and release pressure through the nozzle before attempting to open the water cap. It is light enough to carry up and down the stairs even when it is full of water. Overall, I think this is a great steam cleaner and will be using for a lot of cleaning projects going forward. ... show more

  • Better than I expected Better than I expected
Set name: 915
I bought an older house that the previous owner "remodeled" themselves. I am using it as a rental unit. The folks who were renting it had a different definition of clean than me. I'm glad they found their new home and will know the joy of home ownership. But, they left parts of this house a bit of a mess. I'm not sure they ever really did a thorough cleaning of the shower in the three years they lived there. I thought this would be a perfect place to try out this steam cleaner. The house is on well water with a water treatment system, but there was a short period of time when it was down and the water was harder and may have etched the shower door glass. The steam cleaner was not able to clean the glass completely, but it did a great job on the soap scum areas. There was also a lot of mold (yuck) that the steam cleaner took care of beautifully. I was surprised at how much water it holds, until I noticed that I had overfilled it and it started squirting some out the back of the unit during the heating phase. After re-reading the directions I realized I was only supposed to add two and a half of the provided fill containers of water and not the nearly three I dumped in there. No problem because I was in a bathroom, but you might not want it on a wood floor while steaming wallpaper for example. It took quite a while to heat up, but once it was, the steam was powerful and plentiful. I worked on the shower for about 40 minutes and ran out of breath before I ran out of steam. I did not use it for a full day's work, but for this and other projects like cleaning the car interior I believe this will work just fine. ... show more
