Really heavy in small package. Once it's unwrapped, I couldn't believe all the pieces!! Thank goodness for my son who loves to do stuff like this. It took him 3 days and a combination of directions and doing it himself. NOTHING easy about the assembly at all. This is why I put 4 stars. It's very sturdy, everything lines up great and functions properly. I think a lot of that has to do with how it's been put together. ... show more

These are great bookcases. We purchase 2 and placed them on top of a cabinet. All from Amazon. i had been wanting to add bookcases on each side of the fireplace but being so FRUGAL, I refuse to paid the price of custom made or other high end store cost. I found the bottom cabinets and bookcases and my husband put them together. Both bookcase and cabinets are the same width, then BH put same trim on each bookcase to match fireplace. Cabinets were a little tricky to put together (2 page of instructions were stuck together (my fault) but he took it apart and got it right. A lot of pieces! ... show more

Liked it a lot until the doors were added lastly. There is an unsightly gap above the right door which makes the whole cabinet look cheap. How can this product be returned after taking an hour to put it together? The best I can do is use it on my back porch. I contacted the seller & their solution was to offer me a $35 refund for a cabinet I paid $119. They also suggested I hire a professional to fix it ... show more

Cabinet was exactly what was described and expected. Heavy and sturdy with plenty of storage. When we put the cabinet together there was a duplicate panel sent so we contacted the company and explained what happened and they quickly sent another cabinet to us. Throughout the replacement process they stayed in contact with us and when the cabinet arrived they followed up to make sure we were happy. This is a company that stands behind their products and wants to make sure their customers are completely happy with everything. This product arrived with a key piece of it broken in half. We contacted the seller and provided a picture and they shipped us another cabinet free of charge. I was happy for them to just replace the part, but they said it would be easier for them to send an entirely new cabinet. I was not interested in paying the shipping to return it so I’m glad I spent time communicating with the seller.
