I dislike this company!!!! I ordered these bar stools, when I went to check delivery I saw that the hight of the stools had been changed from 24 to 29. I tried to cancelled the order however, they had been shipped already. Thinking I would send them back I ordered these again at 24 and checked the next day to make sure it stayed at 24 inches. I received both sets on the same day. I requested a return and this company WOULD NOT PAY TO SHIP THEM BACK!!! I live in Maryland and took them to the post office to SEND THEM BACK IT, the price to ship CAME TO $330 $110 PER CHAIR. The company refused to pay for shipping. These chairs costed me over $390 after tax and shipping (twice since I now bought 2 sets). I would have only received $60 of my money back for these stools!!!! I have applied for Amazon's E-z return but Amazon will not do anything since this is a third party and this party did say they would refund my money once they received the chairs. (AFTER I SEND THEM BACK SO I STILL HAVE TO PAY $330, THAT I WONT GET BACK!!!) I opened the right size boxes and put the chairs together. They are cheaply made the seats are uncomfortable. I hate these chairs. I would not recommend this product nor this COMPANY TO ANYONE. ... show more

Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I'm really impressed with these chairs. event shopping for some bar height stools and the prices for them at the stores were astronomical. These were more than half the price of what we have been looking at so I took a chance on them. The assembly was very easy and the instructions are very good. The first chair took 15 minutes to assemble and the second chair took less than 10 minutes because I didn't have to read the directions after completing the first build. I did make a pretty serious mistake on the first chair and that was to over tighten the two bolts that hold the middle of the backrest to the stool. I my over tightening cause the back of the backrest to pop out a little piece of wood. I was able to glue it back in and press it on. But I decided to show you in a video where I made the mistake so that I can hopefully help somebody. I didn't make the same mistake on the second stool assembly. The chairs are very comfortable and the swivel top works great. they don't spin real easily which is a great safety feature so nobody can't spin out of them and get hurt. But the ability to rotate makes getting out of them easier. It also means the kids don't push them back away from the counter and leave them out. They can just swivel the chair to the left or right and they're out. the bar stools we had they would always leave them out and never tuck them back under the bar. As you can see from my pictures and video this is a huge upgrade from the stools that we currently have. They sell these in both the regular counter height and bar height. The bar height is 5 in taller at 29 in. so make sure you purchase the right one for your counter height. Made the mistake of ordering the short ones initially and had to pay $20 each to return them. But it was worth the wait because I'm very very happy with the way these chairs look and turned out. I'm definitely going to order another set now to complete my set. I wanted to make sure that I love them before ordering the second set. We do love them and I highly recommend them if you're reading my review. They are very well constructed and for the price I couldn't find a better bar stool chair. ... show more

If you are looking for new barstools stop looking. We needed two for our outdoor / indoor patio and these were perfect just stop looking. We have purchased costway furniture before and love this brand. We have a Tv in our outdoor /indoor patio and a couch, so the 360-degree swivel is an added bonus and you do not have to strain your neck to watch the game or upcoming Superbowl. The barstools come in at the perfect height measuring 29" which is considered an actual bar height, this bar stool is perfect for you to enjoy coffee, snacks or breakfast or yes a coattail. This is not just a stool it has an ergonomic backrest & softly upholstered seat; the backrest of this barstool fits the body curve and has a wide area to support your back and waist. The seats have premium and will make you feel more comfortable while sitting. I found these, loved the color and just the right height and I love the idea of the swivel where I just had to give these a try. I was not dissapointed, this wood is very high grade, heavy duty bolts and screws and the cushion is perfect too. The assembly was very enjoyable. The screws just turned all the way with fingers alone, and the a tighten up with the included hex key. The only thing that I needed was a phillips screw driver for the screws for the leg rails, and those screwed in perfectly too. The swivel is heavy duty where I weigh 190lbs and the swivel is so smooth where I just love that I don't have to move the stool to get off the chair, just a little swivel to the right, and back on my feet. The wood reminds me of the condensed high quality wood of a high dollar furnature store, which I was highly impressed on the quality. Hard to show how nice these are with just pics, so I did a video up to show. No cons, really nice chairs, where I am very happy with the purchase. ... show more

Didn't like the quality. Had to request to be able to return. Got "permission" to return. They give me a return label for the post office and tell me if that doesn't work you'll have to pay for it to be returned. When I took it into the Post office I still had to pay $53.80 to return. That was the cheapest method. I will never buy anything from Costway ever again. ... show more
