looks great, very sturdy and well built. as others have said, instructions are lacking but if you work on your truck very much you can figure it out. the one page picture of the assembled item and list of part numbers with a "negative battery cable to be disconnected" randomly on the page does not really make for thorough install instructions. It took me a while to realize to take the support plate for the factory filter box off. Once i did the new box slid right in and the bolt holes lined up. THAT would have been a helpful piece of info in the instructions. ... show more

This definitely a Volant CAI. All you are getting is a Volant re-branded with Corsa's name on the air box lid, that inflates the cost $75 . My CAI was delivered missing required installation parts, one of the clamps to fasten the air tube to the throttle body and washers to fasten the box to the truck. It looked to be partially assembled as well. It also had parts in the parts bag that were not necessary for the install of the CAI on my GMC Sierra. The molded air box was also very poor quality too. The top of the box where the lid fastens to the top of the air box itself is about 1/8 to 3/16 of inch away from being square to the lid itself. SLP and Injen make cold air boxs for my GMC and I will be buying one of them instead of this one, and either one of these other options will be way better in quality. This air boxes quality isn't even worth $100. cheaply extruded plastic with rough edges everywhere and no quality control at all. Not to mention the Corsa lid was scratched too right out of the box. ... show more

    • Installation on 2014 Cadillac Escalade was very easy.
The Corsa website does not indicate support for the 2014 Cadillac, at least it didn't when I installed this in early Nov/2013. I called Corsa, and they said that though they didn't show support for this vehicle, it should fit, so I gave it a try. Sure enough, fits like a charm, and seems to work as advertised. Pickup is noticeably quicker, and gas mileage is improved. I'm not a "measure everything" type of guy, so I am stating this based on simple observations. We don't fill up as often, and the vehicle gets up and goes much better than it previously did. I also like the improved sound the vehicle makes during hard accelerations. During normal driving, we don't notice a difference in sound. ... show more

Great product and easy installation as long as you take your time. Installed this on my 6.2L 2011 Cadillac Escalade and sounds great and matches up well with my factory exhaust. I will make an updated review in about a month to let y’all know if I see any improvements in gas mileage and horsepower and overall review because I just installed it today! This intake is easy to install and sounds great. The filter that came with it is a dry filter so it doesn't need oiling like a K&N. I would bet 100 bucks that Volant makes these for Corsa, or Corsa makes Volant. I had a Volant on my G8 GXP and it was AMAZING.
