I originally bought one that was supposed to fit but was too small. The company called to help figure out which one I needed. The replacement wedge worked but the paper instructions were not good so I had to look up a video on how to install it. Once I found that, it was easy to install.

I absolutely love this Corner Kit for Ring Video Doorbell Wired (2021 release) and enthusiastically recommend it. Our old doorbell was mounted on the concrete wall about six inches to the side of the door frame. When I installed the Ring Wired Doorbell, the mounting holes for the new doorbell were farther apart than the holes for the old standard push-button doorbell. And, because the mounting location is reasonably far to the side of the center of the door, the view from the Ring doorbell was less than I had hoped for. This mount solved both issues. The holes to screw the mount to the wall have the same spacing as the old doorbell (and therefore the holes in the wall). And, the camera now is angled toward the door, so we get a better view. One other benefit is that the wall is deeply textured, so the Ring Doorbell didn't really fit flush between the texturing and the wires coming out of the back of the doorbell. With the mount, there is now space for the wires so both the mount, and the doorbell, sit nicely flush.

Better than I originally thought

Bought this to go along with my WIRED Ring doorbell. This would ONLY work with wired version of the Ring door bell as it is much smaller, any versions of Ring that has a battery inside would be too big for this. My door bell is on a wall that is perpendicular to the door, I bought this in a hurry and didn't realize it only had a 25 degree Angle, much to my surprise it worked really well thanks to the Ring camera's wide angle. Installation was really easy, I literally spent more time on caulking up the screw holes for my old door bell. Would definitely recommend this for others, just remember that this would ONLY fit the true wired version of the Ring door bell, anything with a battery inside would be too big for this angle mount.

The front door mounting point for my ring camera was pretty awkward in that I needed to build it out from the door frame and angle it over. This would not have been possible without this bracket which worked out great. The package included a couple of different angles so there was a lot more than what I needed here. I definitely recommend this as a good way to customize and optimize the fit of your security cameras.

It was a dark and stormy night...when Alexa announced that there was a motion at my front door. I quickly shifted gears on my phone app to see what was going on, but I saw nothing. Those were the old days, when I felt that there was nothing out there for me to see. I admit that I had a very narrow perspective when it came to the going's on in the world out there, but it mattered not, as I just could not be bothered with that which escaped my field of view, but that night...that dark and stormy night, left an imprint in my mind on what could have been there. Still, everything in my peripheral mattered not because I couldn't do anything about it. Then one day, I strolled across an awkward misshapen object, except - it wasn't misshapen. It's form had purpose and direction, and it seemed to beacon me by teasing my curiosity with it's odd shape. It was this "Corner Kit" for my Ring Doorbell. Oh what a vixen this object of my desire was, for even her price seamed too low for me to refuse. Eventually, I could no longer resist the urge to contain my vices and placed this tempestuous object of my desire into my shopping cart and we whisked away into the internet cloud of purchases. It wasn't long before I could witness the physical black beauty before my very eyes. I quickly removed it from it's package, and the only thing that I can say, that It was an absolute sight to behold. The square angles appealed greatly to my geometric OCD, yet the wedge off-center angle repulsed me. It was nothing short of an amalgamated mess of inappropriate wonder. I carefully and methodically installed the new misshapen wonder to my perfectly square Ring Video Doorbell, and I was amazed at the new perspectives it had given me to the outside world. Before, my narrow vision was blocked by a brick wall, but now that wall was pushed away and I can see so much more of the world out there, and now I understand what is really out there on dark and stormy nights. If you ever feel stuck to a corner, take on a new angle, and choose to not fear that which you fail to perceive. Know that my countenance could potentially shift your entire paradigm. ... The End.
