The product itself is wonderful. It was a Christmas gift for my mother, she's been wanting one for years! The issue I ran into, was the special star-like screws that were missing. I called the manufacturer and they said that I'd have to reach out to Amazon, because that's who I bought it from. I called Amazon and they said they could only give me a refund. They could not give me a replacement, since it was no longer being produced. I found this very confusing, since it is an Amazon product and Ring is very popular. I did get it in a very good deal with the Echo Show and I think this may be why, I think they were still producing the individual products. I went to Home Depot, of course the specific screws were not ones you will find in any store. I ended up just paying the under 10 bucks on the actual Ring website to buy the little replacement kit that has all of the extras(screws/etc) that come in the original box. I was disappointed that both customer service lines ended up not helping me solve the problem at all. Thankfully I was able to solve it on my own, even though I had to pay for the replacement that should have been in the box in the first place. The Ring product itself is great.

I have the ring on both front and back door Security assured. I have had them for years. I upgraded to the next ring and always wanted a Show. Amazon bundled Show and ring for a bundle price. I can see who is coming to the door. The picture quality and sound is very clear.

Obviously we all need cameras outside now a days and this one is perfect. I love that i can see who rings even when im not home. Need to get another one for the other side of my house.

Slow reaction time with notifications and if you are going to run off battery alone, buy extras. Its a hassle to constantly have to remove screws to take inside to charge

A half a year later and still working. So far so good. Can even change voice and voice activation phase with echo show. I was not expecting that. Just like on star trek, my echo show responds to "computer". I have the voice of a female british person. They have others but, I liked that one. Ring doorbell does the cam thing, Can access it anywhere. Not much else to say. I still wish it had a better camera, maybe next time.
