Other than the cheap and easily bent shoe clips, this brace works nicely keeping my foot and toes up. I had used the Medicare brace which was obtrusive, ugly, uncomfortable and expensive even with my copay. You don't have to shove these into an oversized shoe to accommodate the stupid design of the Medicare one... I use a small key ring and put one (two) each in my end eyelets on my right shoe WHICH STAY THERE. From there, it's simply a hook and unhook situation to use. I use a full sized ankle height sock under it, and it holds firmly. Put on your shoe, put on your brace and hook the two hooks to the rings on your shoe. Done. Easy peasy and it works SO WELL....AAA+++ ... show more

I finally found a product I can use to run. I was worried it would not work but it does. I no longer trip on the treadmill. Only problem is the blisters after the first few runs. I have to layer the padding to cover the blisters. I used bandaids, moleskin, corn pads,… It has helped a lot but still very raw. I run daily so there is really no time to heal. A really good brace. I mistakenly bought two of the type that you web through Your laces. Those do not hold due to the laces loosening. This is a good genius design, where you clip onto the clips provided , and you basically set and forget. I highly recommend this brace. It has helped me tremendously in my rehab for strengthening my gait and leg along with providing me a remedy for the foot drop. be sure to measure so you order the appropriate size. ... show more

This is amazing after trying several different devices I finally it found one that works I can actually walk without hanging to put all my attention on lifting my toes so my walking faster is much better and natural it is easy to undo and remove your shoe them put your shoe back on and try attach even one handed ii can't recommend this enough where I get my therapy they have ordered a couple to use there as well ... show more

My wife has nerve damage complications from a recent hip surgery. To address the drop foot associated with the nerve damage, we've tried different AFOs (Ankle Foot Orthosis). Our current model uses velcro, which tends to wear out and not stick to the AFO surface. I bought this for the elastic cords that fasten to the shoe eyelets. Pros: The AFO is sturdy and the elastic cords are strong and adjustable. It does keep the foot pulled up into a 90 degree angle. Cons: The elastic cords are so strong that they tend to pull the ankle/calf collar down into the heel of the shoe. It pulled down into my wife's shoe and was very uncomfortable. It may be possible to tighten the collar to prevent the slip down, but that would likely result in some circulation loss. The collar may also be directed over the back of the heel, preventing it from lowering into the shoe itself. ... show more

I purchased this brace. It was difficult to find an athletic shoe that has holes for the laces. When I found some and tried to attach metal hook to the hole, the hook broke, making it useless . The large plastic hooks to attach to the shoe are too large to attach. Very dissappointed. Have not used it, and it was to late to return this $50 item. ... show more
