  • Wonderful ukelele
Style: Concert
When you spend a little more, you get a LOT more on lower end ukes. I bought a Kala and it just felt like mass-produced "eh". Then I found this and it is truly an instrument - beautiful finish, mother of pearl inlay, inlaid fret markers (where the Kala looked like paint). The tone and musicianship is far beyond the price tag. My only negative remark would be the pictured wood looked totally different from what I receive - it was golden tones, and mine is more towards a darker wood. It is actually gorgeous and I would pick it now, a better representation of what Koa should look like. But I was expecting a lighter colored wood so it took a few moments to recalibrate. And either way, it is the sound that counts and it is wonderful. It truly is an instrument you want to pick up and play over and over. As it ages it develops more mid-tones and color, but the clarity is amazing. Really happy I picked this uke, the quality is there. ... show more

  • This Cordoba is a 5 Star, but the shipping unfortunately a big disappointment.
Style: Concert
First, the Cordoba Uke is wonderful! The wood is beautiful Koa and the craftsmanship superb. I think beginners and experts alike would be pleased with the sweet, clear sound. So far it holds a tune very well. My opinion is that it is reasonably priced. I should have received Five Stars except for the fact that the shipping was horrible! It is a miracle that this delicate instrument arrived undamaged. It was literally wrapped with a single sheet of very thin shipping foam and put in a flimsy box, secured shut with three pieces of packing tape. No Bubble Wrap, no extra padding, no exterior box! The company needs to rethink the packing before and pack with greater care before someone receives a damaged item and their reviews tank. I would definitely buy another Cordoba 28C, but not sure I would take the chance ordering with Amazon. ... show more

  • Beautiful in sound and appearance
Style: Tenor
I picked up this uke during the COVID crisis as an upgrade to my current Oscar Schmidt tenor uke. This Cordoba uke is truly beautiful. It looks good and sounds great. Much richer sound than the lower end ukes. It also seems to stay in tune fairly well compared to my others and I have been playing it at least 1 hour per day. I paired this up with the Gator hard case which it fits into with no problem. I would highly recommend. ... show more

  • Hard to play, not for beginner.
Style: Tenor
The action is high. First fret is really hard to play. Even with experienced player, this is very difficult to play. The sound is lovely otherwise. Bright koa tone and it is very authentic. Unforunately, it is going back.

  • Only Cordoba non cutout ukulele with slotted head 🤎. Doesn't get better than this.
Style: Tenor
This is the best ukulele Cordoba makes! So beautiful and perfect. Loving the slotted head. Only the 28 tenor has it! The only Cordoba Ukes better are the 30 series (30T & 35T). Get this one. You won't be disappointed!

  • Beautiful ukulele with rich sound and tone!
Style: Tenor
Excellent ukulele for the money. I already had both a Kala tenor and Alvarez concert both strung with Low G and I wanted another for standard High G. I only use Aquila Red series strings and this sounds incredible. Sweet and rich tone! Very nicely made and once strings are broken in, really stays in tune. Highly recommend! ... show more

  • Quality Ukulele
Style: Soprano
This is my second Cordoba ukulele. My first one, the lighter of the two in the picture, is a concert and has a much richer sound than the one I just purchased, the darker of the two. The reason I gave the soprano ukulele 4 stars instead of 5 is that I thought that the wood was going to be darker. The sound is appropriate for a soprano, not as rich as the concert. It still doesn't hold the tuning for long, but that should correct with use. ... show more

  • Sounds good, feels weird
Style: Concert
It sounds beautiful, however, the neck is way too narrow for my liking. If you do any hammer on pull-offs, it’s easy to push the string off the fretboard all together. It’s probably my bad playing style. Otherwise, a good little uke... just not for me.
