This is a very nice vacuum unit. It does a great job of collecting all the hair that my dog leaves behind. I really like that it has a standard floor unit to collect dirt and fir. It is amazing that the suction doesn't lose any strength moving the dirt from the floor up the shaft to the reservoir in the handle. The unit will stand on its own when quickly locked into upright position, releases by holding the base in place with your left foot while you apply a bit of pressure to the handle to unlock. The base is on a swivel that makes it so easy to move the base about on the floor. It does a great job on carpet also. Comparing this battery operated vacuum to a handheld battery operated vacuum, this one had a much stronger suction to vacuum up dirt on the floor. The included attachments will allow me to vacuum the couch and my recliner using the brush attachment attached to the handle. The long, narrow attachment will allow me to vacuum into cracks and other tight spaces. I am anxious to see how well it can clean my car. I am sure it will be more effective than my current battery operated car vacuum. In all, I am quite impressed and pleased with this vacuum. ... show more

    • Good for small area clean-ups
This vacuum is pretty good for small areas and is probably best to just use on hard floors. Using it as a hand-vac without the power head it works very well, but is a bit awkward to use due to it's size. I had hoped to also use this to clean my car but the size makes it more of a liability in getting into tighter areas. I'll stick to my shop-vac for that. The positives of this vacuum are it's compact size and ease of storage. It is well made, with one exception which I'll elaborate on below. It has a lot of suction power. It is good at getting into tight spaces and under furniture. The roller actually does seem to not tangle with hair nearly as much as my regular vacuum just as they claim. It is also easy to pop the roller out and clean it too. My biggest complaint is the run time of the vacuum. If I run it on the high setting I literally only get three minutes before the motor just slows down, and keeps slowing down. That's a far cry from 20 minutes. So in my case I just leave it on low or medium, which is fine if you are using it for a hand-vac, but if you are using the floor attachment with the lower speeds, that's when the suction power leaves a lot to be desired. I would rate this at 3 1/2 stars if that was an option. For the price of this vacuum it's okay, but just barely. Maybe I received a bad unit, but my overall experience using this vacuum leaves me a bit disappointed. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This is probably the best thing I’ve ever ordered from Amazon. We have a name brand rechargeable vac, and a plug in, and our dog goes ballistic every time we vacuum. I was astounded that the dog does not react to this at all, and it is much quieter than any other vacuum I’ve ever owned. The clincher is the amount of hair it picked up in just a few minutes! The performance on low, med and high is fantastic. It picked up dog hair well from the sofa with both the simple brush attachment and the roller brush. For the carpet, it was so easy to snap the handle in and use the roller brush on them. I have the washable, thin rugs, and it’s hard to find a vacuum that doesn’t wreck the edges but this one was just right. It was shocking how much dirt and dog hair came up after just a few minutes. Plus, the length of the handle is adjustable. It charges very quickly and I like that there are options as to how to charge the battery. I like the video that shows how to use, clean, and charge it. The vac comes with just the right amount of accessories and I do plan on finding a place to hang it. I wish it came in another color as I’m not a purple lover, but for the price it’s absolutely amazing. I really wanted to get a new vac but the cordless ones are hundreds of dollars whereas this one is at a perfect price point. The performance matches the brand names, and the noise level beats them!     • Excellent compact vacuum
This nicely made and beautifully packed vacuum provides excellent suction (especially when you push the boost button) and it glides easily across the floor (it is not very heavy). It seems to have been thoughtfully designed (easy to empty and easy to clean the filters) and it is easy to assemble. When you open the shipping box there is a clear assembly and usage guide printed on the cardboard; there is also a useful manual with clear instructions and illustrations. You should retain these for future reference. One of the functions that we like is that it is very easy to remove the roller from the housing for cleaning -you simply push out the tab and lift and out comes the roller. Also, this vacuum is free standing - the roller assembly locks into place and that permits you to stand the unit anywhere you have a small amount of open space. The battery is simple to remove and replace and after 10 or so minutes of use it is still going strong. It did need a bit of charging out of the package but that only took about 10 minutes. This is a nice vacuum that is easy to quickly grab and do a fast or careful clean up. We will use it on tile floors as well as carpet. We think it will be a very useful addition to our cleaning tools. Highly recommended. ... show more
