Aggressive and tiring for arms. It does till but the design is very straight lines so don’t expect it to tear up bigger weeds. You’ll still need a lot of elbow grease. If you’re looking to just fluff soil up it does well.

This rake works well overall and does what it’s supposed to do. The tines are solid and it handles basic yard work without any issues. The only downside is that it’s a bit on the light side, which makes it harder to really drive the tines down into tougher or compacted ground. If you’re working in softer soil it’s fine, but for heavier use you may find yourself needing to apply extra pressure.

We were excited to get this tiller. My husband has dewalt tool so he has batteries that work with this cordless tiller. We have a large tiller that we use to do our large garden and wanted this one to do inbetween the rows during the growing season. This tiller is about 9 inches wide an tills to a depth of 6.3 inches deep. It is the perfect size for our needs. It came needing some assembly that was easy to do. It is lightweight weight and folds down and doesn't require a lot of room to store it. We decided to try it out even though it isn't planting time yet. We fould out it works best after the soil had been loosen up for the season first with our large tiller. This tiller worked well in the loosen soil and was easy to maneuver. It is lightweight so my arms will not get worn out from it. The depth will be perfect for keeping our rows weed free. The safety release brake worked great and gave my husband piece of mind knowing I won't get hurt using it. Our dewalt batteries fit easily in this tiller and the tiller had plenty of power. It was easy to clean after using it. This is the perfect tiller for us. We're looking forward to the growing season.

Dewalt tiller I have had this in the box for the last two weeks, there are 8" of snow in the ground with more expected this weekend and at least a month and a half before any consideration of using a till. I thought it might be a good time to open it up, set it up, which was easy and quick, and make sure it worked. It does. I eliminated my gas tiller which was ancient and bought a battery operated tiller a couple years ago. It was not as nice as this one and only had one battery. Having 8 batteries compatible with this tiller, It seemed to make sense to move on to this one. The rest of my review is on my journey into standardization of equipment. I've bought into the transition for gas to battery in the outdoor world. I have mowers and clippers, weeders, etc. All came with their own variety of battery meaning you're charging different batteries with different chargers, always searching for the right battery for a piece of equipment. I love the technology. I have a number of battery operated chainsaws, all with different batteries, of course. A while back, I saw a chainsaw I didn't need, but it was compatible with Dewalt batteries which I had for other power tools so I ordered it. I loved it because for no addition investment other than the saw, I had a useful saw that eliminated the need to have extra batteries I needed for other equipment. I had an electric snow thrower I used to get snow off my decks which I have three- large medium and small ( 12'x 10') . I ordered a battery operated dewalt compatible model and have been able to clear all three with 3 batteries and a bit of the 4th. Not having to drag a cord around is worth the cost. If you're like me and have a supply of Dewalt 20v batteries or compatible Dewalts, this really is a no brainer. I have 8 batteries with 6 charging docks. I haven't found any equipment that I had to stop using and wait for a recharge. The best of all possible worlds.
