Cleaning the swimming pool in the backyard during summer is a big challenge. If it’s not clean, I lose interest in swimming because the dirty water is unappealing. I had previously bought several pool cleaners, but they were ineffective and broke down quickly. However, since purchasing this new swimming pool cleaner, I have used it five times and my satisfaction has increased with each use. Initially, I was skeptical because the water remained turbid after its first use, and I thought it was just another ineffective cleaner. However, after recharging the cleaner and using it again for a few hours, I noticed a significant improvement, the water became much clearer and there was less debris at the bottom of the pool.     • Pretty Good Pool Vacuum
This is a pretty good low-priced pool vacuum. My pool is inside a screen in enclosure (lanai) so I do not get a lot of debris in my pool. This vacuum is good is picking up the small stuff that does get into the pool plus the dust and fine dirt that does get blown into my enclosure. It is able to clean about 75% of my pool before that battery dies which is OK because I just charge it up and run it again the next day. In summary, this vacuum works pretty well for me since my pool is pretty small (10,000 gallons) and I don't get very much debris in it. If you have a similar situation as mine, I would recommend this product. However, if you have a large pool that is not screen enclosed that you might want to try something else because this vacuum cleaner probably would not get the job done for you. ... show more

    • It’s kind of ok
I’m still on the fence about this vacuum. It works. It lasts about 90 minutes. But it doesn’t always sense that it hit the side wall so it sits there pushing against the side for a minute or three before it reverses. Sometimes it only moves a foot or three away from the wall before reversing and going back to the wall. The propulsion is not strong enough to deal with any current in the water such as if the filter is active. The four wheels that it rides on are all fixed axles such that if the pool has a perfect bottom, the unit will move back and forth in a straight line. My pool has enough deviation in the bottom that it would move a little between travels. It’s better than nothing but there is room for improvement. ... show more
