I wanted this to replace my Dolphin that gets wrapped up in its cord. I was hesitant to get a battery powered cleaner, but when I saw the video for this that showed it float to the surface when it finished cleaning I went for it. I put it in the pool and it zoomed at almost 2x the speed of my dolphin. I started cursing Maytronics for putting out such an inferior product. Then, it made it to the deep end. It’s only about 8.5’ deep and has a nice steady incline to the shallow end. So, it drops about 3 feet in about 15’. That proved to be too much for its mobility. Once it makes it to the deep end, it doesn’t go anywhere else. So, the first time it cleaned for two hours with a significant portion of that in the same 4’ x 12’ section. It’s weird because it climbed walls with ease. So, I tried it again but slowed it down (the app lets you pick fast or slow). I thought slower would give it better grip. I started it in the deep end. And, I did floor-only, setting it for one hour. It spent one hour in the deep end. Also, the product video shows it floating when it finishes its cycle. Neither cycle that I attempted resulted in it floating for easier retrieval. I can deal with it not floating despite the video claiming it did. But, I couldn’t keep something that can’t clean the entire pool floor. Oh, and, at one point I had to rescue it because it got trapped on my floor vent discharge diverters (not sure their actual name). Gets a star for working when I push the power button and another for its speed controls.

LOVE IT!! It climbs the walls of my kidney shaped pool, comes right up out of the water to the top of the wall and SCRUBS!! My pool has never been so clean and with almost no work!! It is not able to do my stairs because they are too narrow for the machine but every other area is clean! Easy to operate and comes with a retrieval hook for YOUR pole. I only wish that I had purchased before I did!!

So disappointing! I have had this for 6 months. It worked the first few times we used it and I thought it was going to be great. Then it stopped having any kind of system for covering the pool and just cleans the same spot over and over. Now it says it’s fully charged and only runs for 5 minutes before shutting off. It was a lot of money to spend on something that only worked a few times and it’s too late to return it.

I just got this, and haven't even tried it out yet, but I am less than happy. First of all, where are the &^%$# instructions? Nowhere to be found. Secondly, I had a look at the filter, and it's full of dust and bugs. What the actual *&^%$. This was supposed to be new. Now I have to search the internet and watch boring videos just to figure out how to charge this thing (It's not obvious) and then run it. Save yourself a headache, and get something that will come with instructions -- and no bugs and dirt. Edit: Ok I figured out how to charge it, but I'm still wandering around in the darkness without instructions. BTW, I didn't get any retrieval hook, although apparently others did. Thumbs down.

i’ve had this item for 2 months now. worked great for the first month, now the item takes forever to charge and only works for about 25 mins per charge, good price but doesn’t last.

The robot works well. The problem is the company. I needed a replacement part- only to find that they had renamed themselves but still sold the same products and there’s no way to contact them for support even on the Amazon company page. They have a halfway put together webpage with no support options. So I’ve essentially paid several hundred dollars for a device that doesn’t work and there’s no way to get help
