Just got it. This thing exceeds my expectation. Works flawlessly with my Makita battery. Used it for about 30 minutes cutting branches and trees 4” thick or less. This little saw worked well. The chain came off a few times but was easy to put back on. Probably user error. Will tighten the chain next time. Used up only one bar of my Makita 4.0 battery. Highly recommend for cutting trees 4” or smaller. Definitely great value for the money.

Disappointed. Purchased to trim dead branches on my pine trees. It worked well for a short time but the chain keeps binding and can’t be easily adjusted. It came with a second chain but the rest of the saw is cheaply made and already bent. On the plus side, it worked great with my Makita batteries, the rest is just junk.

The tool itself is pretty decent. I like the fact that I can use Makita LXT batteries.. One drawback is getting used to the nearly flush safety lock. Unfortunately, the chain is pretty flimsy and snapped before I was able to make a dozen cuts into soft material. Thankfully the blade guard protected me.

Really nice trimmer for brush - light, cuts fast, easy to keep chain tight as it stretches. Makita original battery used and lasts for ages. Cuts to 3-4" diameters even and more powerful than expected.

It works all right. Considering it’s the first time I used it after weeks of purchasing it it was supposed to be a Makita brand. I pulled it out today and noticed it was just a no name brand that uses Makita battery little pissed off because of the deception.

This little guy did am amazing job on a bunch of 4-8 inch maple that I needed to trim down for wood for the fire pit. The battery life is really good, depending on your batteries, I have original Makita 4.0s and it lasted a good bit longer than I ever would have thought. The only downside is no oiler, so keep a small bottle with you and hit it every now and then. Blade was nice and sharp from the box, made easy work of branches. Will it do a mature tree, no, but its not designed to. I'm ordering one for each of my kids now that they are now homeowners, and one for my in-laws. Yep, I think its that good.
