Like many of the comments, I was somewhat shocked on how small and light this blower is, but very happy with it overall. First off, it's not for heavy duty or large yard work, but works great for a porch, patio, or garage. Secondly, it's all about the battery. I have both 1.2 and 4 Amp Dewalt batteries, no surprise, there is very little battery life when using the 1.2 amp battery, longer with the 4 amp battery. I use it for the porch, patio, and to blow the leaves off a detached garage roof and gutters. It's super lightweight (depending on the size of the battery) and so it's easy to maneuver and hold while climbing up a ladder. Again, if you want a blower for small jobs and have a decent sized Dewalt battery then this is a really inexpensive option. If you think you can use it to blow your 1/2 acre lot of wet leaves, think again.

When I saw the box, I was shocked at how small it was. When I took out the blower, I was surprised at how small and lightweight it was. I considered sending it back without testing. But decided to try it out. No battery comes with it, but I bought it because I had 2 batteries for a Dewalt drill, which fit perfectly. It worked well blowing leaves away from my front door and from my patio. The battery was fully charged and lasted long enough to remove the leaves, but ran out of power while leaves were on the sidewalk. A second battery was needed to finish my job. I ran the battery on full force which drains the battery faster. I have decided to keep the blower as it is easy to use on my porch and patio. I have another electric leaf blower which I will repair to use ion my yard.

Let me start by saying, if this was not $50 blower it would get 2 or 3 stars. This is an inexpensive blower that uses Dewalt batteries. This does not come with batteries and it is NOT a Dewalt blower. I own many Dewalt power tools. They are powerful and expensive. This blower is good for blowing off your porch or driveway. It works great for grass clippings or dry leaves in pavement. This will not move leaves out of grass or if they are wet. I would definitely buy it again but it will not replace my blowers with cords for heavy duty tasks.

This blower is very lightweight, and it works fine for blowing leaves and dirt off of my patio, but not for heavier jobs. There are 2 speeds, both are very light compared to either my corded or gas-powered blowers. Even with a brand-new Dewalt battery that was fully charged, I only got about 15 minutes use before I lost power.

The media could not be loaded. This blower is quite a deal if you already own a DeWalt battery pack with charger or one of their many third party bastards. It has very little power but probably powerful enough in accordance with its low price. The switch has a cute sense of humor as its two positions are in reality a low and lower setting. The battery life has little to do with the blower itself but rather the amperage of the DeWalt battery you are using. This particular blower is not one of those power tools that will quickly drain your battery, and neither is it a DeWalt blower even though they do share the same wardrobe. Actual usage. I use this to clean my RV steps and stairwell area, as well as to blow light stuffs from my truck seat and floor after munching down a quick eat. Surprisingly enough, I was also able to use it to blow leaves etc from my unpaved backyard but it struggled like a loaded semi trying to out run a steep slope. I did grab my Craftsman vac/blower to complete the task. Again let me emphasize this: the blower is okay for light to moderate jobs but should not be the only blower you own as it will disappoint you in many episodes of your series. As a matter of fact, think of the price you paid for the blower itself and you won't get angry when it is not performing to your expectation. I would buy this again if it dies from natural cause or old age, but not if it breaks down during its youth.

This blower is great! Small and easy to handle. I already had a few Dewalt tools with batteries, and they work perfectly. I few reviews complained about battery life, but I use a 7.5 amp hour battery and it works a long time, so no complaints here. Now it's not nearly as powerful as my gas powered blower, but it does a great job blowing the leaves from my front porch and patio, plus I use it to clean the floor in my garage. So, I'm very happy with this product and the price is great.
