I had nails over my stove from some Christmas decorations and when I took them down it looked empty. I started looking for some 6" plates to add but couldn't find any so I got these cute logs to paint some type of farmhousey pictures on ( I know, and not very well. lol) but finally done. After the stove was on for awhile I found this crack on the one. I'm still giving them a 4 because of how well they were shipped and the quality of them. They are clean cut and these 2 were the most round. If you are looking for perfectly round, I would let the seller know ahead of time. Just don't let them get hot or this will happen. I'm thinking of fixing it with either wood putty or calk. ... show more

The bark falls of and I wanted to cut them in half for a project I had in mind be careful they crack but can be cut I think they can be great to paint on

I’m not really sure how to describe it, they don’t feel dense like you would expect a piece of wood to feel. I’d almost describe it as feeling like freeze dried? They’re super light. They’re true to size and pretty slices but the the texture is my only issue
