I'm no expert on pool vacuums, but of all the cheap vacuums I have bought this one is, by far, the best. It vents high up so you aren't disturbing the dirt before you suck it up. It's got a decent sized filter so you aren't stopping every 5 minutes, so important to those of us without a screened in pool. It has no problem with leaves, small twigs, insects or anything that ends up at the bottom. The filter is a fine mesh, so it will pick up and hold sand. A huge plus for me. It's easy to get to the filter to clean it, a quick rinse and you are back at it. I quit before it does, the battery lasts and lasts. I bought at the end of summer last year and have tried to use this summer and it will not work. Would not suggest this vacuum.

I have a robot vacuum that I use but it doesn’t get in the corners or on the walls. With this I can maneuver up, down and sideways on the walls. It’s very effective, the suction is good and it’s easy to clean and easy to store. I would recommend this item.

Nubbins are long enough to fit on to my regular (9’-10’) telescopic rod. Fell off in the deep ended at the very first use. I assumed I made a mistake and the connections weren’t 100%. Fished it out. Made 100% SURE it was fully connected. But fell off again my very next try. Compared my regular pool brush connections to the one on the vacuum…. Not enough to connect. Prob works great on a hot tub where you don’t have to dive 9’ to grab the vacuum itself only to fall off again. ... show more

DID NOT LAST!!!! Has this thing maybe 4 week and it stopped working. Too late to send back. Waisted money. AMAZON products are bad about returning things. Assembly was easy, intial battery charge went as expected. First use about 1/2 hour, 2nd & 3rd use about 40 minutes each on first charge, looks promising. My only concern is the rubber/vinyl cover on side covering charge plugin. Lets hope it doesnt "leak", the cover doesnt appear to be adequate but so far its fine. ... show more
