When you hear a 'click,This means that the floor brush has been successfully installed. Remove:Hold the transparent filter box in one hand and the floor brush in the other, then pull it out forcefully. Note: If there is sand inside, it will increase friction and make it difficult to pull out the floor brush. I love it! Charging time is about an hour. my 15 ft pool takes about half an hour to completely clean. . it picks up large and small items, from leaves to bugs and even fine particles like dirt and pollen. Cleaning is simple and quick pull the lower portion off and remove the basket with a simple opening device on top hose it off and you're done . The twin telescoping handle allows for grate reach and good adjustability . The suction is more than I would have expected . Once full of water it stays planted on the bottom fairly well. I found it's a little easier to use when you're in the pool with the device but it is doable from the outside . Two issues might be a concern. First, the plug used to protect the charging port leaks. I'm concerned about corrosion in there as others have mentioned . so after every use I get the compressor out and blast the area completely dry. the second issue is ...when pulling it out of the water it's very heavy because it's full of water. So if you're working from outside the pool you've got to slowly lift it out of the water and you're reaching. Other than that it's a wonderful device that I would highly recommend. ... show more

Great vacuum makes cleaning my pool so much easier. I love that. I can just wash out the filter. There’s a huge difference between when I would hand scrub and when I would use this, this saves me so much time and the pool is so much clear now the power lasted a long time and it didn’t feel flimsy or cheap It’s really good quality for the price. I highly recommend for someone that needs a little extra help getting all that algae that builds up in high heat climates! Get this if you want to keep your pool clean all summer long! ... show more

Hello, Please Help. I purchased this pool vacuum last July and only used it a few times before I closed my pool at the end of August. I was very happy with this product and had no issues. Unfortunately, I used it maybe two times this season when I opened my pool and now it doesn’t work. I have no idea what the issue could be. But it is completely dead. I would think Amazon would not sell a product that is unusable after about 10 uses. Please get back to, as I see this particular model is no longer available, which makes me think there is an underlying issue with this product. I would be more than happy to take a replacement, credit, or refund. Thank you ... show more

    • Worked better than expected for a small vac

Located in South Florida where we have very sandy soil in our yard, so little by little sand get dragged in the pool area, and ends up in the pool. This pool vac works pretty good. I considered a type where you use a long hose from the skimmer filter basket to a vacuum head that you push along the floor, but then all that fine sand would get trapped in the main filter. This little unit worked well in my large in-ground pool (28’ by 14’), except for one thing; the extension pole. The one that comes with this unit might work fine in a small shallow pool, but it was too short in mine and wouldn’t stay extended even after locking it. Then I tried my regular extension pole (for brushing the sides and net attachment to remove pine needles and leaves). It’s plenty long but doesn’t fit tight enough in the pool vac connector and after a few sweeps slips out of the connector. So I reinforced the connection with plastic ties and a small elastic band with hooks to hold the pole to the connector, and that worked. It took me about an hour to cover the whole pool floor and I dumped the filter basket 4 times. So far I’m satisfied with it. ... show more

I purchased this after my very expensive robot vacuum stopped working, and am so glad I did. This has powerful suction, which means less debris gets kicked up into the water, including fine dust and algae. I definitely recommend, especially at this price point.

Live in Las Vegas where there's lots of calcium deposits and debris from the hard water here. When summer comes around, regardless if my pool's water chemistry is balanced, there's still these pesky white flakes floating around. When my pump is off, the white flakes settle to the bottom of the pool. I've used a pool robot to clean the bottom, but the flakes would scatter whenever the robot came too close due to the water currents so the robot wasn't that effective although it did pick up dirt, some of the white flakes and leaves. After 1 1/2 years, my robot died and I thought I'd try something new. Well, I saw this and thought I'd give it a try. Yes, it looks like a dust buster from the 1980s, yes, you do need to do some work by "vacuuming" the pool floor, BUT, it's GREAT at picking up those settled white flakes and you can push the vacuum slowly without disturbing the white flakes. The motor is a bit heavy and it can be a little awkward to position the vacuum properly against the walls and in between crevices, BUT it so does the job very efficiently. The first day, I picked up a ton of the white flakes, MULTIPLES of what my robot could do. I was so surprised by the performance and ease that I had to write a review, which I don't do often (but should). The great thing about doing this manually, is that I know that these white flakes aren't clogging up my filters and being recirculated in the pool. I've used this about 4 times and my pool is so much cleaner, free of those pesky white flakes. Some have complained that the pole isn't long enough? Well, they do allow you to put your own pole on the unit so if you have a long pool, then use it. I appreciate that they had an included pole so I don't have to keep switching back and forth the poles. Hoping that this last a few years, but recognize that the motor does such a great job sucking up debris, that the lifespan may depend on how much and what it sucks up. ... show more

The vacuum is great, the filter not so much. The vacuum is great at getting medium to small debris from your pool. We went on a week-long vacation, and something happened while we were away, and we came home to a pond. The pool vac and hand net were good at larger debris but I kept having a thin green film on the bottom of my pool. The first few times I ran this (without a recharge) it was magic. The film would disappear and I would let it settle and then attack it again. BUT the filter soon gave out. And I could literally see the fine particulate just going in one end, and out the blowers. There needs to be a multi-pack of filters included and this would be a 5-star man. The charge is great, the suction is good, and it takes care of the fine to medium particulates. ORDER MORE FILTERS OR THE FILM WILL LIVE TO FIGHT ANOTHER DAY AND YOU WILL BECOME SWAMP THING. ok. you might not become swamp thing, but no one wants to swim in a green pool. I know, I know. Shock it! The kids will look like they were extras in the Village of the Damned, but the pool will be crystal clear. ... show more

I’ve had this Cordless Handheld Pool Vacuum (2025 version) for a little over a month now, and I’m genuinely happy with the product. I got it as a gift after my old vacuum (the kind that hooks up to the filter with hoses) bit the dust — and this has been a major upgrade. I use it in my 16x10 above ground pool, and depending on how much debris is in there, I can get a few solid vacuum sessions out of one full charge. The suction is strong (16 Gal/Min is no joke), and the dual-phase cleaning system really helps pick up both fine and larger debris with ease.
