I just had the 16 quart stockpot delivered, and am so impressed with the quality I was moved to write a rare product review (I was not provided with any benefit to write a review like many positive reviewers). I haven't used it yet, but I'm sure it will perform fine with the multi-layer base designed for even heat distribution. The fit and finish are about perfect, and the stainless steel sides are thicker than expected and very nicely formed to support the lid. The exterior is a high polish finish, providing a high-end appearance much nicer than I expected. The interior has a utilitarian brushed finish. The size is great, with a large capacity but still very manageable on the stove. It does fill a standard size kitchen sink for cleaning, but it works if you have a high faucet or a spray hose. The glass lid fits perfectly, and the top handle is secured with rivets that won't loosen over time like screws do on so many others. Also the steam relief hole in the lid has a metal grommet (appears to be the same stainless steel as the rest of the unit aside from the multi-layer bottom), instead of the common plastic ones that become discolored with use. The pot handles are sturdy stainless steel and permanently riveted in place. I imagine they may heat up with extended use heating, which is a good tradeoff for the durability and aesthetic provided by the steel material. This stockpot is a good value at the standard pricing, and an absolute steal at the sale pricing I paid. Very highly recommended product, just wish it was made in the U.S.

Tried it out recently by canning tomatoes on a propane cooker. No hot spots- good, even heat (no burned tomatoes to scrape and scrub off pot's bottom). It's heavy and should prove durable. Only "negative" is that I would've preferred a stainless steel lid instead of glass because I tend to break things :( . Wish I'd bought it years ago and retired my old, thin, cheap stock pot to boiling dishwater on camping trips. Worth every penny.

I love it!!! I was looking for a pot that was heavy duty, with an ability for even heating and able to make large batches of items such as no- bake cookies, sauces, soups and stews etc. I make these items for a small "mom & pop" convience store. The large size helps to make several batches at once and avoids problems such as boil-over etc. The thick base avoids scorching and provides even heating and cooking, I can walk away to assist customers for a few minutes and be confident that my items (ie; no-bake cookies) that require a near constant stirring do not end up scorched and stuck on the bottom if I reduce the heat before walking away. It also keeps the temperature from falling off too much if I do walk away and it heats back uo quickly helping to keep the even temps nessessary for the recipe's to turn out a great product. The harder recipes that require so much attention and stirring to turn out right are so much easier with this pot. I am very happy with my purchase and may even decide to give a couple as gifts in the future. 🙋♀️ UPDATE---11/18/2020 Hey, all! Well, I am still loving this pot! I've used it for making big batches of Items nearly daily, AND happy to say that I have not burnt, scalded, scorched 🤔a single item in this pot! There are scratches on the outside and a few on the glass lid. I make sure to use a sponge scrubbie or S.O.S. pad and scrub EVERY bit, every time I have been able to keep it looking near new. After over a full yr & 1/2 of use and absue!! The price is really what drew me toward these particular units but I really hated the thought of getting the cheapest and the garantee of the worst scorched flavors gravies, sauces and the no-bake cookies, and I get big raves over my personal recipe. Burned food, not an option! The heavier the pan the better for the food, but they are way too expensive for most people's needs. The bottom plate pretty much solves that issue, still need to keep an eye out, but not as much.👌 I have decided that I need to order another of these but the next smaller size. 🙄 Hope that I didn't wait too long and they're sold out. Well I'm off to work again, Here's hoping for the next recipe or idea to suddenly "dawn" on me 🧐🙄😍. Thanks for letting me get some of. the tension in my neck and shoulders out by rambling and running on with the words!!😉

This is the perfect size soup pot. Not to big and not to small. I have a lot of pots for cooking but not the perfect size. I found this one and love it. It is great at conducting heat, heats evenly, and cleans up easily. I love the size, it really does well for making soups and stews.
